I’ve been reading more often this year than usual whether it’s spiritual guidance or fun manga or kids stories. It’s nice to tear away from electronic screens and relax. We went to a Buddhist temple a few weeks ago and it was nice and much needed clarify. This is by far one of the most thoughtful gifts I have ever received. I had only heard minimal stories from my mom when I was a teenager about how she fled Laos during the war and I never pressed to hear more about it or how the rest of her siblings survived the war. I know that Obama donated several millions of dollars to assist with the effort of cleaning up the unexploded bombs in Laos. They aren’t using anything super sophisticated and last I heard it was a person by person basis. The homeland strives on agriculture and it’s hard to do this with unknowns everywhere.
