So I just found out about one of the coolest instruments ever (next to the hurdy gurdy):

The Laotian Khene or Khaen

It's like one person playing the entire reed section of an orchestra. It's also inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list.

This person has composed a song on it based on the sound of a car alarm

I made Lao Hatsune Miku! It was hard to choose between making the Lao and a Chinese American one, Since “where i’m from” is a bit complicated— I’m British/American (Born in London, moved to the States) With Lao fraternal family, and part Taiwanese, part Central Chinese family on my moms side,,, but I’ve never actually visited either countries in Asia! Anyways— I’m pretty proud of this, she’s holding sticky rice, and papaya salad (yummm) 🇱🇦
