I thought it was weird when DJ Quik was in the liner notes to “The Black Album”. I often have regarded and rightly so, Dj quit is arguably one of the most under rated producers. His sound as far as G-Funk is concerned is better even than its originator Dre. Of the beats on this record, justify my thug, is the weirdest. It has a west coast swing to it, but is one of his darkest off kilter beats.
