I'm thinking of taking a bit of a break from posting art on Tumblr to focus more on a lazy, little thing I had been working on a couple months back. It's a short story I want to see finished, so I wanted to make something small (and very fast) to get myself back into that headspace. I've been dealing with more moments of dysmorphia than usual as of recent, and, ridiculous as it probably is, the story line offers a degree of self-reflection for me. Hope any passerbyer who sees this is holding up alright and getting some sun on their skin when they can. Here's a textless version of the same pic.

These last three weeks have been kind of funky town, yo. Let there be no mistake that I had an absolutely PHENOMENAL time with the BlitzBee Bonanza! I still have so many wonderful pieces to reblog as due thanks for people's participation, and it is so marvelous to see all my buddies getting the attention they and their works have absolutely earned (and that attention includes some BIG transformers fandom names, way to go kings, queens, and non-binary monarchs)!! But, like, goodness, I can assure you that I am Not That Girl, including on this small scale. You are all lovely people, and I am so happy so many of you enjoyed this little get-together, but please do not give me more credit than I am due! I had been informed by a mutual that discussion of the Bonanza had even made its way into the BlitzBee Week discord server prior to the weekend of the event, and I promise you that I wasn't trying to compete or step on anyone's toes with this little get-together. My apologies, I'm rambling again. Still, I do mean it that I do not intend to force myself into any kind of spotlight or community space, and the friends and artists I hold great respect for need not pat me on the back for wanting to share a bonding moment with them! You all inspire ME and make me want to create for my own sake, and that's a truth I want you to take pride in! And I hope you will ALL prioritize creating art for your own sake, too!

Oh, and, not to mention, there's also just the fact that you are all DAMN GOOD ARTISTS!

... But, seriously, I don't get why such skilled content creators are noticing me, it's like a box of chocolate truffles offering compliments to a pack of M&Ms. A wonderfully sweet creator on this site referred to me as a "content creator [they] admire for [my] bravery to post what [I] enjoy" and my brain just kind of went "Oh, no, don't do that, that's not good for your health-".

I am really appreciative of this recognition, especially from two creators i admire in their bravery to post about things they enjoy! Im very hesitant personally to post what i enjoy and out speak on the internet about my interests to heavily.

Im excited for this new chapter, in no small thanks to the support of other and those around me. the small pay off means a lot.

If anything, I have to be the one to thank you and thank many others! It's ones like you that give me the motivation to keep writing even when im standing on my last bit of will to keep going on. It's hard, ya know? Im so burnt out most days, so is Bear, we share the same mutual feeling and understanding, but its people like you that really makes our day and helps us continue on, even on our hardest days.

I'll admit, did struggle with this and I didnt know what to do for the other part of the prompt, but I did enjoy myself and I am glad to be apart of this moment. (May this also makeup for me not participating in Blitzbee week, I am still not confident in drawing Blitzwing)

Prompt 2: “A blast to the past"

WISHING THE FUNNEST OF BLITZBEE BONANZAS TO YOU!!

Just over a year ago, I made my first ever piece of BlitzBee content. At the time of its creation, a part of me believed I needed to "give back" to the greater fan content that had brought me so much joy during a particularly hard year of my life. I felt like I needed to prove my appreciation of the ship, to prove my right to partake of it by making content of my own, and to seemingly "earn my place" at the "BlitzBee table", ridiculous as I know that is in the grand scheme of things. And you know what? IT WAS RIDICULOUS! It was thanks to the support, insight, and camaraderie of those I met through my nonsense content over the past twelve months that made me realize that I didn't have to prove anything to anyone! All I had to do was make content that was fun for me to make, and to make content that the wonderful people I bonded with over the last year might also get a bit of fun from! Much to my surprise, I recently earned the incredible privilege of sharing a moment of art creation for the sake of fun WITH those wonderful people. A moment of shared fun around a goofy ship that would never be canon from a 2007 children's animated series about giant, alien robots that just-so-happen to turn into human vehicles!

And I did everything in my ability to make sure it was going to be an absolute bonanza of a shared moment!

Thank you to ALL of you who took part in this event, and I hope you had as much fun with it as I did getting to be a part of it with you!
