Being in Paris again is making my heart feel all the better. Now, how many of you are going to come spend one last week with me and help me pack up my tiny little Parisian abode, hm?

Just got back on set and time has already lost all meaning. Drawbacks of being a time traveller. Junior, on the other hand, seems to be enjoying the star treatment far too much to mind.

I always find it funny how animals in the industry get so spoiled! At least when we have them on set for photoshoots, they get so much love. As for you, don’t get too lost in all that timey-wimey business. We like you around here.

Only one way to find out!  Lead the way, baby.

[Valentina allows Dara to tug her into the hallway, down through the lobby and the main doors, where the blinding summer sun awaits them over the Sydney harbor.  Off in the distance sits the iconic Sydney Opera house, and Valentina leads the pair toward the boardwalk railing, taking a moment to drink in the view.  As Dara’s lithe fingers curl over the painted metal, the CEO wraps an arm around the model’s waist.]

I know it might not be quite as cool as hanging out with kangaroos, koalas and quokkas, but I’ve gotten us orchestra tickets to La Boheme on Monday…

[A wistful sigh escapes Val’s lips, and her grip instinctively tightens.]

Seeing an opera here has always been on my bucket list.  Since I was a little girl poking through the antique Encyclopedia Britannica my father kept in his office, and I’d encountered the photos of that incredible building.  

[A pause, as Valentine looks into Dara’s eyes.]   

Being able to share that with you?  Makes it even better.

[As the two of them approach the boardwalk railing, Dara slides her sunglasses up on her head, glancing across the water. This place was far too beautiful for words. There was something about having a beautiful woman treat her to this beautiful place that Dara couldn’t put into words.]

I will happily go to the opera with you... especially when it means so much to you. I can’t imagine a little Valentina doing anything less than looking through old books. No wonder you love old bitters bottles. 

[She giggles softly, leaning in and pecking Val’s lips.]

Is there anyone else you’d rather share the opera with?

From drafting motions to filing briefs.You name it and he had trouble with it. I had to do three times the work I would have if he actually did his job. You would think that, wouldn’t you? It’s something I’m going to be looking into. I’m not sure how much it actually fixes, but it at least makes the fixing that much more bearable. Thank you. I do enjoy a welcome accompanied by a compliment. Overall, it’s been a pleasant experience thus far.

I think you might just be better off letting him go and spending your money on another, more qualified human. I mean, my little sister would be better at it than what he sounds like. and she has a psychology degree. I’m glad that your experience has been at least slightly enjoyable. Any plans for the next couple of weeks?

[Valentina feels the breath leave her lungs as Dara’s lips press against hers.  Unbeknownst to the blonde, nearly 24 years ago to the day, Val had been on her honeymoon with Ezio–not in Australia, but in Mykonos.  And though it (only slightly) pains her to admit it, this trip with Dara has eclipsed it.  Within a day of arrival, already Valentina feels as giddy as she did when the words “I love you, Dara Klein” first left her lips.  She kisses a line down to the hollow of Dara’s exquisite throat.]

Mmm…last night was incredible…I think that might be a new record for me, dolcezza mia.

[Stepping away, her right hands seek the blondes, threading their fingers immediately.  With her left she gestures toward their hotel room door.]

[Dara is always pleased with the electricity that still runs through her veins at Valentina’s kisses. The two had an undeniable chemistry since day one and Dara couldn’t tell you why. Why the universe chose them, but she was damn glad it did.] 

A new record? I am so very happy I could contribute. 

[A giggle left the blonde’s lips as she grabbed her bag and sunglasses, slipping them on as she led the older woman to the front door.]

Let’s go, let’s go! Do you think we’ll see a kangaroo again?

[Dara looks in the mirror, putting on the last of her lipstick. She has to stop and pinch herself, not being able to believe that she’s really in Australia with the love of her life. There are things she has kept from her though - Avi things, worries. Things that she wants to push way down, but doesn’t know if she can.]

My love, are you ready to go?

[The blonde model walks from the bathroom to the bedroom in their hotel suite.]

I want to get this walk in before the jetlag sets in again. That and the exhaustion from how much fun we had last night. 

[Dara walks over to Valentina, her hands splaying on the woman’s chest as she leans in for a kiss.]

Hello from Down Under!  It is currently 3PM on Saturday afternoon, and my goodness, it’s absolutely spectacular here.

We’ve taken in the sights around the city and the harbor.  Done a little bit of shopping.  Sampled some of the local cuisine (vegemite is…not my cup of tea, but Tim Tams are delicious), and we’ll be heading to the koala sanctuary on Sunday.  In the meantime, Dara has taken to spontaneously channeling her inner kangaroo, and hopping in excitement at nearly every turn.  Seeing her so happy and smiling this much has made this journey so worth it.

I AM SO EXCITED TO MEET THE KOALAS THAT I DONT THINK I CAN HANDLE IT. 

Ahem. I mean, I’m sure this trip will be as delightful as expected. Vegemite was gross and I demand that we never eat it again. Mostly because so salty. My kangaroo hops are a private matter, Val! How rude of you to blast them to everyone on 6D.

Happy 2017!

Happy New Year, people from 6D! Hopefully the massive hangover I’m sure you all have won’t ruin the first day of the year for you!

I know 2016 was a difficult year in general, it certainly was for me too, but it also brought me so much joy and–I don’t know–I have a feeling 2017 will be my best year yet!

It was so fun celebrating with you and Jo last night!! I’m so glad that we all had such a great time. Also, I can’t believe we actually made it to midnight. I was positive I’d be asleep by 10.
