Planets, stars, nebulas and a galaxy – all your favourite things all in this image. Mars (right) and Saturn (center) are visible as the two bright orange spots in the upper half of the image. The colorful Rho Ophiuchus star clouds featuring the bright orange star Antares lined up below Mars, on the central right part of the image. These interstellar clouds contain both red emission nebulas and blue reflection nebulas. At the top right of the image is the Blue Horsehead reflection nebula. On the lower left are many dark absorption nebulas that extend from the central band of our Milky Way Galaxy. The featured deep composite was composed of multiple deep exposures taken last month from Brazil.

Saturn and Mars will remain visible to the unaided eye this month toward the east, just after sunset. Everything else in this image unfortunately requires the use of a telescope to see.

Here Are The 5 Largest Companies In The US Right Now

Apple has had a rough few weeks.

It’s been dropping pretty hard. Now it trades at its lowest levels since 2014. With this drop, there’s been an interesting change in the order of the biggest US companies. Apple was number one. But look who holds the top spot and this new list of the 5 biggest:

1. Alphabet (formerly Google) GOOGL - $497 billion market cap

2. Apple AAPL - $496 billion market cap

3. Microsoft MSFT - $401 billion market cap

4. Exxon Mobile - $367 billion market cap

5. Berkshire Hathaway - $346 billion market cap

Over the past week, Apple lost its top rank to Alphabet and that’s something important to watch. Perhaps for a number of reasons but two immediate thoughts might come to mind. Foremost, Apple is heavily weighted in the Dow, S&P 500, AND Nasdaq-100 indexes. Or the basically the three most followed stock market indexes. By some estimates Apple is 3.5% of the Dow Jones Industrial Average, 2.5% of the S&P 500, and in the Nasdaq-100 Apple is roughly 10%.

Another aspect is the importance of technology companies to the entire US stock market. The 3 largest companies in the US right now are tech companies – Alphabet, Apple, and Microsoft. That says quite a bit about sector and market capitalization leadership. And so going forward keep your eyes on this list. If tech companies like Apple continue to drop, will the major stock market indices go with it?

Past: $35 to 40$. 15% increase after Q1 report on May 13th. 

Outlook on NVIDIA: $45 by August 13th, 2016. $55  by December 2017.

GTX 1080 will sell like hot cakes. GTX 1070 will sell even more than 1080. AMD’s newest Polaris will not be able tocompete with Pascale architecture as AMD did not invest several billions in R&D for 16nm computing. AMD stock will be a hold or sell depending on their gpu performance. 

NVIDIA’s B2B position is likely to increase based on their deep thinking chips. 

NVIDIA is the goliath in the gpu industry.

Dean Karnazes: the man who can run for ever

Most runners have to stop when they reach their lactate threshold, but Dean Karnazes' muscles never tire: he can run for three days and nights without stopping. What's his secret?

This man makes a living running marathons. Probably a millionaire. His body gets rid of lactate faster than it is produced. He feels no fatigue as he runs. He ran three days and nights straight for over 100 miles. LIFE IS NOT FAIR. 

His genetics gave him the option to make a living off of running. 

I found this article interesting because it shows how we live in an age where people can make a living off of running, something that has requires no production, no service. We live in a blessed age. 

But then again, many people are not gifted by God or chance with superhero talents such as dean. We the normal ones must struggle and fight for better opportunities to make a living. 

We have to fight and struggle to get an education for a better job. 

I repeat, LIFE IS NOT FAIR. Most of us were not genetically gifted with the option to be able to run 100 miles without fatigue. Most of us were not born as photogenic as Taylor Swift and her Hollywood friends. We still fight for position in this world. My hope is that one day life is more equal for all that one day people can get dealt an equal hand when they are born. 

Where one day how you look is not a job criteria to be checked off on an interview and the first impression has little to no merit. LIFE IS NOT FAIR, but we are all still here so we can make it fairer.
