What's the Story, Morning Glory? || Lucy & Dmitri
She ducked down, finding her pants under the bed. As he talked, she yanked them out and quickly slipped them on, continuing to search for her shirt. âDonât get all sentimental on me now, Creevey,â she laughed, flipping her hair back to give him a sly smile.
She spotted her shirt hanging off of the headboard, right above Dmitriâs head. Shaking her head, she went to the side of the bed, grabbed it, and pulled it on over her head. Part of her felt guilty running out like this, but it wasnât anything she could help. She really did have dueling practice she couldnât be late for. âThanks for last night,â she whispered.
He smiled up at her, leaning in close to her face. "Anytime princess." He kissed her quick, his lips still raw from the previous night. "I'll see you around then?" He laid back against the headboard putting his arms behind his head.

She sighed. âYeah, it was,â she admitted. Realizing how late it was getting, she sat up, pulling herself out from underneath his arm. âAs sweet as this is, I really should go.â Gazing down at him, she couldnât help but feel warmth everywhere even all around her. She cast a shadow over him, yet his eyes still sparkled with a mischievous twinkle. âYou know, youâre cute in the morning,â she said before getting up completely. The air outside the bed was much colder than she had expected, making goosebumps appear all over her skin. Chilled, she quickly began to get dressed. However, once she was in her bra and underwear, she couldnât seem to find her shirt or her pants.
Dmitri grinned as she got up and began to get dressed. He sat up watching her move in the light with her hair falling all around her. "And you are..." he laughed to himself silently, looking out the window. "You're great. Look, I know you know that wasn't my first time, but I just want you to also know that... it doesn't mean that was nothing to me. It doesn't mean you are. You know, as much as we tear each other apart." he laughed.

The question caught her off guard and her instincts immediately kicked in. âWhy do you want to know,â she said. Her hazy morning voice toned down the unintentional harshness of the question. Before she could even blink, her mind started working into overdrive, over analyzing the question before she even got a response.
"Just curious I guess," her moaned, his voice barely audible under the scratchiness of his own voice hidden under the covers. "I'm not going to judge you if it was. You know that right? He reassured her.Â
Okay I am bored, nothing to do, and I'm hyper.
Maybe Iâll talk to her another time, I am not to sure about it.
I'm sure you two could find some common ground. You both like to beat people up with magic, I'm sure that counts for something.
Okay I am bored, nothing to do, and I'm hyper.
To be honest I have never talked to her..
Maybe you should, she's quite the charmer. And a pretty bad ass dueler.
What's the Story, Morning Glory? || Lucy & Dmitri
Her body relaxed into him. Her hand wrapped around his toned arm and stroked it lightly. âAnd whatâs that,â she sighed in a sleepy voice.
"Was that... you know... your first time?" Dmitri asked cautiously, resting in closer to her so she didn't feel to uncomfortable about his question. He closed her eyes to seemingly give her some privacy in the moment, in case the question caught her off guard and embarrassed her.
Okay I am bored, nothing to do, and I'm hyper.
Potions and sometimes dueling.Â
I know a dueler really well. Maybe you've heard of her? Lucy Weasley?
Okay I am bored, nothing to do, and I'm hyper.
I am not too interested..I prefer other things.
Care to elaborate on said hobbies?
Okay I am bored, nothing to do, and I'm hyper.
I dunno. I am just full of IMAGINATION.
Then perhaps, we should just tire you out? How do you feel about quidditch?
Okay I am bored, nothing to do, and I'm hyper.
Yes I am, just hyper.
Then we should find a way to calm you down, no?
Okay I am bored, nothing to do, and I'm hyper.
You okay there?
What's the Story, Morning Glory? || Lucy & Dmitri
Lucy listened to Dmitri done on and on about why she should stay in bed, the smile creeping back onto her face. Damn, she hated the way he could do that to her. His arms embraced her, wrapping her tightly into warmth and comfort. However, at the feeling of his thumb stroking her scars made her tense up. The more he talked, the more she wanted to recede into herself and close up.
"I want you to know that youâll be okay here with me." The whispers against her skin sent shivers down her spine, but in an electric way. Before she could react, he had pulled her onto her back. She found herself staring up and Dmitriâs cool blue eyes. She could help but notice just how perfectly his dark blond hair framed his face, even when dangling far down his neck. Some of it even invaded her personal space, ticking her cheeks lightly. Slowly, she could feel him pulling her out of her shell she so often hid herself in and she began to not mind it at all. Placing her hand on the back of his neck, she pulled him in for a groggy, tender kiss.
"Fine," she agreed, "Iâll stay."
Dmitri grinned boyishly, falling down beside her. He rolled onto his side, wrapping her in his right arm and playing with her shoulder. His head once again was on her tucked into her neck, and every time he spoke he could feel his breath bouncing off of her. "There's something I wanted to ask you... about last..." Dmitri spoke quietly, drinking in the daylight the crept into his room.

Lucy jerked her arm back instinctively. You should have left when you had the chance, she thought. âItâsâŠIâŠuh,â she stuttered, avoiding eye contact with Dmitri. âItâs not important,â she said quietly. She leaned over quickly and placed a soft kiss on his head before beginning to get up.
Dmitri stared after her, instinctively reaching out his arm to grab hold of hers. "Hold on a minute Luce; what's the rush? It's Saturday morning which is the official start of the weekend. You know in Nepal, this is the only weekly holiday. And is Israel, Saturday is the official day of rest; and in Sweden, Saturdays are the only days children get to eat sweets," Dmitri sat up letting the sheets fall of his torso, revealing his smooth, pale skin. He lightly kissed the back of Lucy's neck, resting his check on her shoulder.. "So what I think, is that you need to take Saturdays a little more seriously, before you offend someone." He wrapped his arms around her waist, stroking the marks on her arms.
"I'm not stupid Lucy... I know what you think of me usually, but I'm not that thick; I know what those are..." he whispered against her skin. "But it's okay. I want you to know that you'll be okay here with me. They're fading, which means there's a chance for you to see that you don't need that..." he squeezed her waist tightly, wrapping his arms further around her. "Besides, it will be quite hard for you to leave with me," Dmitri took Lucy by surprise rolling her back onto the bed and pinning her down, "in your way." Dmitri laid on top of her gleaming in the pale sunlight and small victory he had achieved against her.

"Yeah, I just," her eyes glanced down, "last night was great." Running her hands through her hair, she pushed it back and away from her face. "As much as Iâd like to lay here with you and be lazy all morning, dueling practice is calling my name." She fully sat up, pulling the covers up with her to cover her chest. Though she had said the words, she still sat in the bed, partly unwilling to leave. She knew if she didnât, it would come up. UnlessâŠhe just wouldnât mention it at all. But then, what would that mean?
There, she was doing it again. Overthinking. The last time she was like this, Lysander knew how to calm her down. But he wasnât here, Dmitri was. And she didnât know what was on his mind.
Dmitri watched as Lucy sat up next to him, covering the rest of her body with his sheets. He smiled to himself, to how shy she suddenly became next to him. "Yeah it was." he agreed, rubbing his eyes with his fingers. "So soon? I thought maybe we'd have a little time to..." Dmitri's sentence trailed off as he glanced down at Lucy's wrists. White marks he never noticed before suddenly became more apparent on the surface of her skin. "What's this...?" Dmitri reached for her arm, stroking the marks tenderly.Â

An extremely sexy morning voice snapped Lucy back to the moment. One of Dmitriâs eyes was squinted shut against the sun, the other open slightly and gazing up at her. A small smile creeped back on her lips. He always knew how to do that. âDonât worry, I was just wondering how someone this attractive could snore so loud,â she joked. She continued to sit in her half-sitting up half-laying down position, still unsure how quickly she wanted to leave.
"What can I say, you wore me out." Dmitri smirked rolling onto his back, stretching his arms behind his head. He peered at her from the side, taking in what she looked like in the morning hours. Her hair was a tangled red cloud surrounding her face, but it wasn't messy. It seemed to know exactly where to fall even if she had spent the last few hours with her face in a pillow. Her eyes were wide as she too began to adjust to the flood of morning light seeping in through the windows. "Hey, you okay?" Dmitri asked, focusing again on her physical being curled up next to him.Â

The black turned to a warm red as Lucy felt a glowing warmth cross her face. Opening her eyes a crack, she squeezed them shut against the harsh rays of the morning sun. She inhaled deeply, arching her back and stretching her arms above her head. Sighed, she relaxed back, reveling in the feeling of a good nightâs sleep. There was warmth all around her, from the sun through the window, to her own body, to that of the person next to her. Quietly, she rolled over and looked at Dmitri.
His mouth was parted slightly, and every inhale came with a low rumbling hum, like riding a bike on a cobble-stoned road. Each exhale whistled back out and tickled the little hairs on her shoulder. His long blond lashes curled up against his cheeks while strands of his blond hair stuck up in odd places around his head.
Smiling to herself, she settled back down, sinking into the pillow and mattress. She didnât expect for things to go as far as they did last night, but she didnât regret it either. He was the perfect blend of rough and tender, as he was with everything else in their relationship. Remembering last night, her smile faded as she suddenly became aware of how naked she was underneath the covers. Everything was exposed, everything. And, that unfortunately included the dull white and grey scars on her arms and stomach. While he didnât say anything last night, she didnât want to wait around for him to say anything about it this morning, partly because she was afraid of what he would say and partly because she didnât want to remember those days. These thoughts in her head, she shifted uncomfortably underneath the covers, contemplating on if she should leave now.
Wake up. Wake up. WAKE UP. The little voice inside Dmitri's head was extremely loud and very persistent this particular morning, and for a couple moments, he had forgotten why. But as he felt something shifting next to him, he suddenly realized what had happened the previous night. And who. Dmitri cautiously cracked one eye open, to see Lucy looking his is direction seemingly lost in thought. "You know," his scratchy morning voice broke through the deadly morning silence, "Staring at me while I sleep is kind of creepy." He closed his eyes shut realizing he had not fully adjusted to the small amount of light that began to cover the room.
