DDO Stormreach
Started Playing Stormreach, the D&D MMO. So far I'm enjoying it. Running around as a bear, growling at everything that moves.Â
Dnd
I haven't had time to really check out the 5th edition of DnD. But it occurred to me the other day that it would be really cool to have a tabletop system that is similar to Skyrim. Where there are no classes. Instead players build their characters as they play. Use an Axe a lot? Then when you level you get points in Strength and are better at using melee weapons. Try to back stab people? Then your stealth increases. Has anyone worked on a system like this?Â
Kobolds
by Chief-Orc
I want to play a game where the party members are all kobolds and they have to survive in a world where the humans keep trying to kill them for exp.
Remember our Commodity Goods giveaway not too long ago? Well this is the follow up. Our winner really dove in and took a few weeks to wear and experience all of the scents. Below is the (simplified) breakdown of what she thought of her top 5 women’s & men’s - she has quite the nose!
SIDENOTE: Have you tried the Commodity fitting kit? It’s affordable ($5 - $10), it’s fun, and it’s a really great way to test out what could be your next signature scent. No I’m not promoting. I just genuinely enjoyed the Commodity experience! If you go for it (which you totally should) tweet us and tell us what you think @CultOfPretty.Â
           Women’s Top 5
Dew - Clean & fresh scent, like pulling a shirt right out of the dryer and still being able to smell the lingering clean after you put it away.
Ivy - A lightly sweetened version of true ivy. Similar to a cup of tea you would brew when you’re under the weather.
Magnolia - The most fresh and floraly of the bunch. Reminiscent of spring time in Colorado (this was her favorite and she happens to live in Colorado.)
Tea - Actually smells like tea! But refreshing and soothing similar to a green tea with a little light orchid/chestnutty-ness.
Mimosa - A very complex scent, starts sweet and then transforms into a tarter version of itself. It was definitely a little intriguing.Â
Mens Top 5
Wool - Very sweet and refreshing, easy to wear, and enjoyable!
Moss - Borderline of sweet and woodsy, what comes to mind when you think of a true cologne - for those who like big scents.
Cloth - Smells like a really great smelling man! Everyone noticed the scent (which was being worn by a guy btw) and gave positive feedback.
Cane - Very enjoyable. Smells like a mix of perfume and cologne because it has a woody aspect but also a sweet lightness to it.
Book - This one was interesting because it really does smell like a book! Could be a sexy scent if you enjoy vintage old works of literature. ;)

This is how I imagine my manic pixie dream Druid girl.Â
So in 2009 the lovely Miracole Burns and I were invited to visit Studio Revolver to do some figure reference modeling for the artist John Tyler Christopher. John was doing some art for the new Dungeons & Dragon’s book coming out and needed some reference shots/sketches for a human woman and a male dwarf. We got there and spent a fun and amusing evening posing together with whatever props we could come up with around the studio. Here is the finished art of us from the “Dungeons & Dragons Player’s Strategy Guide”!
