ONCE AGAIN I need to fix a mess that someone else made without making it worse or pissing off the guy who got me into the mess in the first place and despite my abominable behavior online, I'm a pretty good diplomat IRL, I just resent it. I resent constantly being the peacemaker. I think it's the moral thing to do 100% of the time and to act otherwise makes the world a worse place but I also wish I could just be one of those people who is an asshole all the time and still beloved for some inscrutable reason.

It was like a horror movie I was like "damn what's this guy's problem why is he giving me so much attitude" all morning and then I found out why. Ah. Understandable. But let me explain....

A guy who previously hated me has decided he likes me now and subsequently decided to express this by doing something that pissed off several people whose good opinion I've been slowly, desperately, painfully trying to win and creating a situation where I will have to ritually humiliate myself MORE THAN ONCE! before said group of people to fix it. With friends like these!
