I hate Imperium Huxley MUCH more than the next guy so it pains me to humanize him buttttt

He still canonically draws in the dirt, so I headcanon that whenever he’s stationed outside, and he gets bored, he just doodles random things in the dirt, and eventually starts drawing his moms. He can’t remember what they look like, and every drawing looks slightly different from the last, but it’s the closest thing he has to a picture of them. It’s all he has left of them.
