Hello, it’s 5:57AM on May 14, 2018 and I just woke myself up by sheer force of sadness because in my dream all these racers were remembering their last races with their crew chiefs, and how even if it had to be their last, at least the race was a good memory. 

In my dream, Lightning was just parked there because it just then occurred to him that when he ran his last race with Doc he didn’t know that’s what it was going to be. And now that it’s been almost ten years since Doc passed, he’s not really sure that he remembers that race at all.
