I was struck with the specific timing. David out there just living his best life, singing about how amazing everything is, while frolicking through the wilderness with Tali. While Jonathan is doing everything he can to keep Saul away from homicidal tendancies.
My brother's big draft cross mare passed today....
We have no idea what happened. She was fine this morning and found already gone in the pasture this evening. No signs of injury, illness, or struggle.

I love this movie.
I had already cried during Tapestry, I've learned the soundtrack through the last week before finally going to the theater, so I knew all the songs.
I can't remember exactly how Nitzevet phrases it in this scene but she asks David how his tapestry is coming along.
His response, Oh you know.....less like I'm being woven.....more like I'm being stabbed-
And when I say I FELT THAT
Ughh I just love this movie so much.
30 days ago I saw this in theaters and that line I mentioned stuck out to me.
Watching this again for the first time after it was released to streaming it has a massively deeper meaning.
So much can change in 30 days.
My world has been flipped upside down several times in 1 month. Hospital visits that ended up in two weeks out of work, being told I would need to leave the home I've been working on perfecting the last two years to then several opportunities for a new home within a week.
The emotional whiplash is no joke, but God provides, and I am learning to lay things down. That's hard for me.

I'm being wheeled into an elevator at the hospital to get me back to my car on the other side of the campus. The woman with me notices one of the nurses that helped me rushing the other way.
"Are you ok, honey? You look flustered."
"Oh I'm flustered." *points at me* "Not as flustered as her though."
*Me being wheeled into the elevator* "Yep-...... happy 2026...."
I'm going to see Phil Wickham in March and if he doesn't do Psalm 8, I might riot.

Ok maybe I'm not going....I went to get our tickets. It's almost sold out. Which is awesome don't get me wrong but with missing work I have to hold off on that a bit. 🥲
Yeah I'm out for a week. I don't go back until 1/27 at the earliest and I am already going stir crazy.
That was one of the most traumatic things I've ever experienced.....
6hrs at the hospital for an abscess/cyst thing..... starting in the ER and then being sent to a specialist.
Was not expecting to leave in so much shock and pain that my hands were still shaking when I got home, with stitches, and told not to work for a week....
I don't know if I'll be off a full week or not.....
Yeah so I won't be released to go back to work until 1/27. And at first I was like, oh maybe I can start back at the gym or something to fill up my time.
Yeah no, you have stitches that will pull genious....
