I feel like we don’t talk about the fact the Master literally fucking murdered everyone on Gallifrey in a massive fit of rage over what was done to the Doctor. Like he literally killed them all to avenge her. Billions of innocent Gallifreyans, including kids, dead because the Master was so furious about what the Time Lords did to his best and oldest friend. yaz's narrative is actually 'became cop out of want to help people and was annoyed and frustrated because she wasn't helping people and then ditched work so often once she found a way to Actually help people that eventually she didn't have work anymore' but people somehow don't like when you point out that that's legit what happened on screen in the show.
