People on the internet love to criticize work by Some Guy putting stuff up online for free like it's made by Disney Studios, and talk about Disney movies like they're made by their personal friend Amy, who is just trying her best,

The thing about the Moray Eel that makes it so charming is that its a kind of large wet sock puppet, but instead of a hand inside of there its full of eel. It's one of nature's greatest triumphs, to have evolved a fully autonomous muppet, and when I look at one I am immediately filled with much of that same joy as when I was a young boy seeing Kermit. They even meet the expectation of forming little ensembles, whole bouquets of little sockbeasts poking out of a hole together with their mouths agape, delightful! It is challenging to even imagine a better animal, a wasted effort in fact when I could spend that same time thinking about the Moray Eel which very much already exists.

This is also a great time to remind everyone else that loving Ziggy is in fact mandatory. There will be a brief adjustment period going forward, and at the end of that period failure to comply will be harshly penalized.

Ziggy saw me preparing his food and wanted to make 100% sure that I knew he was ready for it and there was no need to delay on his account. Disclaimer: No poor unloved and underfed eels were starved in the making of this video the food was sat in a cup of tank water defrosting when I took the video.

And here's Hal(oween Jack)! The baby!

Hal is a Chainlink Moray. Unlike Major and Ziggy this guy is only like the size of a pencil, but he was eating literally an hour after being unbagged and I am sure he will be too big to fit in his favorite rock by spring! He is very sweet and curious, I hope he doesn't grow out of that!

An Exciting New Addition to the FamEELy! It's Major (Tom)!

Major is a Gray Face / White Eye Moray Eel, who has proceeded to eat all my fire fish and cause me no shortage of stress. Impossible to hold this against him though, look at this absolute muppet!

While I was hoping for a modEEL citizen this was always a possibility, and this was always an eel tank. Luckily he gets along just swimmingly with Ziggy! More on that soon!
