Putting this character on probably permanent hiatus. Nicest fandom ever, I just don’t have the time. You can find me on lostgabi if you want to stay in touch!

"cant be too picky." She joked. "Just freeing up my hands Daryl.” She chuckled around the leather. She was used to traveling light, practiced at it even but there were a few things besides survival items that she liked to take. Stowing the mace away in her back pocket she opened the wallet and pulled a few bloodied and stained pictures out along with an old Georgia drivers liscens.
"Scared of Mace are you?" She laughed moving down the body and pulling off of the guys boots, dumping it out the find a pocket knife and what looked like a wedding ring, safely stowed away when the Walker was still human. She took them both, little trinkets she liked keeping before standing up and looking at him. "You’ve got a group around here and I’m going to be the one that needs it."
"I got ya," he muttered, leaning his back against the rough bark of the tree. He was more comfortable raiding the homes than the dead people. Though he'd done his fair share of breaking them open when they needed to smell of the dead.
"Just don't need anything to make me not see. Blind out here means dead," Daryl stretched, eyes on her. "Yeah, got a group. But membership's closed for the moment. Unless you answer some shit."

Adda walked through the woods, feeling for the first in a long while like she could relax a bit. The sound of her footfalls and Thackery’s paws crunching throw the fallen leaves and twigs were the only thing she could hear, along with the rushing of water ahead. Which meant to her that the area was Walker free, at least for now. Human free as well. If she wasn’t so intent on the water source she would have transformed and ran with her brother, free and happy, like they did on the full moon. But right now, she needed to fill water bottles and maybe catch a fish or two.
She was pretty much lost, but that didn’t matter to her, you kind of needed a place to get to, to be lost and Adda always felt more at home roaming around in the woods then in any house, anyway. Besides, there were less Walkers out in the wild and to her that meant that the air was blissfully free of the smell of decaying flesh and that made this a good day, fresh water and the possibility of fish for dinner were just a bonus.
After they walked awhile more the trees thinned out a bit and the river came into view. A smile broke out on the blonde’s face and a laugh soon sounded from her lips as she watched the gray wolf charge forward into the water, vocalizing his joy.
"You’re gonna call all the damn walkers with that racket you’re makin’." She scolded the grown wolf, who was acting more like a pup. "And scare away all the fish.. it’ll be dirt for dinner." She added, though there was no harsh tone to her voice. In fact she was overjoyed to see Thackery in such high sprites.
The gray wolf paid her no mind and she shook her head. “Never did know how to listen, whatever form you were in.” She commented, though at this point she was talking to herself as she set down her pack and went about looking for the bottles that needed filling.
Daryl had a few squirrels and a turtle strung up, ready to get back to his group. They'd be eating good tonight for the first time in a while. It wouldn't be the tastiest, but damn, there'd be no empty bellies tonight. It was a good thing.
He heard the sound of the river before he saw it, and figured he'd drop in for a drink before he headed back to his people. They knew he was out, checking traps and looking for game to shoot, and it would take him hours.
A sound froze him in his tracks. Not the dead, no, a dog. Maybe a coyote. It sounded like it was playing. Not something you heard too often anymore, so he crept closer to the sound, looking from behind a pine tree at the dog. Wolf? that made his way to the river and then the woman behind it. His crossbow was slung over his back, and he'd use it if he had to. He watched a moment before moving from behind the tree. "Needs boiled fore y'drink it."
"Hold on. You're too sick to go anywhere."
"I’m fine. Just a fever. Shouldn’t kill me today."
"I’m not bossy. I’ve just grown up with a man that taught me how not to back down, when I’m right."
He eyed her a moment before throwing his arm across his eyes. "I told you I'm fine. It was that rain. I'll be fine soon as I'm warm."
"When is the last time you ate?"
He thought about it for a few moments before shrugging. “I had some greens I found in the woods this morning…”
Kyleigh rolled her eyes at Daryl’s question. “Yes of course I have. Haven’t you ever heard of Sushi?” She asked in return. She stopped when she heard a rustle of leaves near by. “You heard that right?” she whispered, reaching for the gun at her side.
"Rabbit and raw fish are not near the same." He shook his head. "Never could see the sense in eating a dab of rice and some raw ass fish." Daryl shook his head. Then he heard the leaves and jerked his crossbow over his shoulder. He nodded to her and pressed a finger to his lips. He shook his head at her gun and gestured to the knife at his belt.
She held onto his tighter as the bike started, not wanting for fall off the back and be left for dead. Still Abby was trying to wrap her head around the fact someone had come to help her, but also that there might be another reason. “No, not bitten.” She slowly got off the bike, taking him stopping and getting of as a signal for her to do the same thing. Her eyes flashed up to meet his before searching the ground again. “Thank you. You didn’t have to help me, so thank you.”
He glanced around the station and rolled his shoulders to get the tension out of them. Always locked up that way after dealing with a pack of walkers. Some sort of stress reaction probably. He nodded to the woman. "Good. Hate to have to kill you after I went to all that trouble," he muttered. Daryl checked his weapons, and cleaned his knife of walker juice. "Not a problem. Folks got to help each other now."

I actually just checked my tracker and found yours. It wasn't in my activity! I'll get to it tonight!
Still have dementedbeautyqueens and waywardxshewolf in my drafts but my brain is shutting down from being tired. I'll try and get to them when I get back from trick or treat.
Rachel and Daryl
Rachel stayed silent for a few moments before she turned her blue eyes to look into his. “Gotta be, right?” she asked with very little emotion in her voice as she said it. She wasn’t the same woman that he had met a long time ago, she was different now. Everything she had went through had changed her, most people looked at her and were intimidated by her. But her group, her family, they knew how she really felt, they could see the loneliness in her eyes as she would walk by them.
He shot her a look, eyes squinted in the sun. "Yeah, gotta be." It didn't mean she was. It didn't mean any of them were. She sounded like some sort of robot, her tone was that lifeless. Daryl shook his head. "Never thought I'd be the one givin' the pep talk about there bein' good in the world still, but I guess I gotta. You've got the kids. You're alive. It's worth a smile, Rachel. Sometimes."
