So Yuki's a big spoon and Pierre's a little spoon,,,
Also Yuki’s love language being quality time and Yuki having moved to Milan so he and Pierre can spend as much time together as possible,,, 👀
I'd rather be in outer space 🛸

before you celebrate hadjar's podium (which is fair), remind yourself that this podium could gift him the seat in the redbull........ think again

Yukierre, July 30th 2025.

Tale as old as time, cunty king and the French
i think my fascination with yukierre comes with the specific dynamics it poses in stories. like how i describe yukierre is, the most repressed asian you know x the seemingly hyper-masc paddock jock who is secretly a sweetheart. what sells yukierre is the idea that there is that underlying sense of true self that does not publicly show itself often, especially in f1, especially when they were both still in redbull.
that's why a lot of yukierre fics tend to be more canon compliant with a tinge of tragedy in each one. there's more stakes in their "secret relationship" trope compared to other drivers. there's always this underlying notion of "wanting freedom" to both of them. this is especially emphasized with the fact that pierre finally moves to alpine for almost 5 years in the backend redbull team, and yuki is now in the almost exact position pierre was in in 2019.
that rich concept of change-but-not. the idea that there's so many outside forces that challenge how these two yearn to love. yukierre is just so rich in that unavoidable tragedy and the ability to transcend despite all of it. anyway please write yukierre i completely miss them so much

Look at this point, Yuki has no guaranteed seat for 2026. He's facing being either out of the sport entirely or trundling around with a backmarker.I can 100% see why he would take the leap for Red Bull, it might be his one and only chance to sit in a top seat.
He also can't "refuse a promotion" lol. He's contracted to Red Bull, you think if he refused it, they wouldn't boot him and have that Swedish twink in the seat in 5 seconds flat?
Anyways, at this point if he's going to leave, I'd rather he do it on his own terms. If he believes he can do well, I'll trust in that. Can't be any more painful than seeing his efforts get ruined week in and week out by the b-tier squad
