On IWCBD 2015 I made the trip to Gyle 59 in Dorset to take part in and photograph the day. It was a pretty great day with some pretty great people. I wrote about it for Ferment Magazine but thought I’d share the photos here as well
I haven't felt very inspired to write another blog post recently so instead i decided to re-imagine the famous alewife Elynour Rummyng. This is my progress so far.
144 pages long, A4, with a glossy cover to rival any mainstream magazine, Parallel Magazine is your alternative to misogynistic “women’s” periodicals.
Issue 1, “Liberation”, features: interviews with Kate Nash, Hanecdote, Big Joanie, Harnaam Kaur, and the Clandestine Collective; pieces on Carry That Weight and the Good Night Out campaigns; reviews of Girls Get Busy, The Chapess, and Body Talk zines; and work by Nicci Peet, Alayna Cole, Sarah Vickery, Sian Irvine, Lilly Vigna, Megan Pattie, Robin Nichol, Janine Booth, Giselle Morgan, and of course the fabulous Parallel team themselves.
We talk about everything, from politics to body image; from race representation to the Spice Girls.
Grab a copy online here or find us at one of our stockists!

As I plan to do more text based posts this year I'm going to running Does That Come In A Stout across both Tumblr and Blogger. The same posts will appear on both so if you're a dedicated Tumblr-er you won't miss out on any beery goodness. If you're also on Blogger I'd love for you to check it out and give me a follow.
If not, I guess thats OK as well ;)
