Hi! I'd really like to see origin-specific dialogues for what each character says when someone else is downed. I've heard a few of Karlach's (to Shadowheart: "Come on, fringe, back up with you!") and one of Astarion's ("Wyll you sweet fool, get up!") but I'd love to see all of them.

The majority of fans have good taste, but since they have good enough taste they stay away from sites like tumblr or reddit. That is why most people we see online have bad taste.
Astarion fans don't get mad at me, but I find the insistence on giving Freudian excuses for his approvals/disapprovals unnecessary. I think most of the times he approves something because he thinks it would be funny and acting like he doesn't takes from his character.

With how much astarion is on my feed, it always surprises me how my shadowheart art always way outperforms my astarion art. Then I remember straight men play the game too.
I'd get it if you are were talking about reddit. But saying there is more straight men than there is vampire lovers in Tumblr sounds weird to me. What you experienced is common thing for popular characters/ships that can be caused by 2 things:
It gets lost in the feed: In more active spaces your work has more chance to just get lost in the crowd at opposed to less active ones.
What I call "Picky eater syndrome": This more easy to explain in fanfiction. Let's say you are writing for fandom X that has 10k works and fandom Y that has 300 works. If you fanfictions both became popular that is good and the one for X probably got more interactions than the one for Y. But let's assume people wasn't really interested in your fanfictions. In this case the one for X would probably have more views than the one for Y(dependent one the difference between work counts of X and Y), but the for Y would probably have a higher kudos/views, comments/views ratio. The cause for this is people on the X fandom are more picky than Y. In Tumblr terms: More art a character has, people are less likely like/reblog an art that doesn't suit their specific tastes. Less art a character has, people are more likely to like/reblog because they can't be picky.
I hope I didn't offend you. I am just saying fandom spaces has the Laffer curve attitude.
