“What’s wrong?” He looked at his friend with concern.

So then Markus tightly held his hand and Connor let him. They ran until Markus deemed that the coast was clear. Connor still didn’t know what scared him off. They managed to arrive at a lovely park when they slowed down.

“Why were we running?”

“Cuz I got tired of falling for you.”

“Is there any way for me to improve your experience around my presence?”

“Fall for me, too.”

“I can’t. You’re still holding my hand.”
