It feels a little weird to post someone else's photography but here are some of the professional images of the day of.

And HERE are some pictures of the dress and some progress shots!

It's silk faille, two layers of tulle (one peach glitter, one ivory), plus heavily beaded appliqués that I hand cut and stitched on. Also a good amount of hand beading for the water droplet motifs all over!

Completely self drafted from the ground up.

Not pictured: 15 tiny little stains where I jabbed myself with silk pins and bled on it lmao

Hi tungle!

I quit comics and became a tattoo artist. I can't promise I'll do a good job posting here (I'm horrible about posting anywhere) but I just wanted to let you all know I'm alive. And I think I'm better than I have been in a long time. It was pretty painful to get there, though.

Wifwulf is still, somehow, in the nebulous stages of fulfillment. The book taught me a few very important things:

None of the things I love about comics and about making them are dependent on actually being in the industry.

Having the infrastructure to create something and then deliver it is a tricky beast, especially when everyone and everything around you runs on prayers and poverty wages.

If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself.

Thank you to everyone who has read it so far, and enjoyed it. That means the whole world to me. And if you read it and were disappointed, I apologize. No book can be all things to all people, I suppose.

And if you never got to read it because of nightmarish international shipping costs, I'm even more sorry. I wish I had the funds to subsidize it for all of you.

Comics really will break your heart, as they say. I feel like I understand that as well as anyone, nowadays.

Ps. If you backed at one of the higher level tiers like the commission or the original and still haven't gotten one, PLEASE HIT ME UP IT IS KILLING MEEEE. I emailed everyone but I feel like it probably bounced for some people!! Please let me fulfill that for you!!

The one thing I can’t stand about Tumblr’s layout is how tiny and dinky it makes landscape images.

Taking a tiny break from my commissions to whip up this wolf goddess for my Twitter banner. I did the linework a few weeks ago so all I had to do was paint. :) This may or may not have been shamelessly inspired by helenmask‘s incredible work.
