I'm scared of the coming spring and summer because EVERYONE will have the mutts out in their yard and just BARK BARK BARK WOOF WOOF when walk i up and down the streets.

My young cousin's family got a fucking dog and now I can't fucking visit them anymore. Why does everybody have to get doggies.

I've considered suicide.

And I've actually self-harmed too, I cut my wrist every time i would hear a neighbours dog bark.

I tried blasting audio of loud dogs barking into my ears to try to "exposure therapy" my way into being ok with it but i just broke down sobbing.

Luckily people have been more understanding about it. Like I have a friend that has an EAS dog but they have trained all the barking out of it, because they don't like barking either. They were OK.

But I still feel anxious to say "I dislike dogs" hell even when i told my mother, she was like "mmmmh no you don't hate dogs". I love my mother but honestly fuck her in that instance of trying to put words in my mouth.

When I vented to my 'friends', they just told me to get therapy. I'm autistic, the only 'therapy' is ABA which is known to cause PTSD.

I just want people to control their dogs.

thank you for this blog seriously!! there's been this absolute nutty dognutter named kurutta who's passed through our server and other peoples' servers preaching the type of DOGma you show from other dognutters, and would get kicked for that and her bigotry and then throw tantrums. she's recently had a lot of people worried she killed herself after another manipulative rant, and she uses autism for why she can hate cats to death. a lot of us are autistic too but not like that about others' pets.

I'll tell you a bit about my dognutter neighbours.

They have 2 sheepdogs. Working dogs, but like barely walked. Just doing circles in the backyard.

They have barking fits at 10 in the morning and around sunset.

I want to give up. as an autistic individual I tried to brainwash my self a little bit. I would repeat the words;

"Dogs bark, it's how they talk, it's good, manage your reactions"

Just trying to manage but deep down I'd rather have my neighbours do something about it, than me have to force myself to endure triggers for their worthless shitmutt's sake.
