I went to Costco today for a few things and as you know, they sell alcohol. I was thinking about a particular wiskey that I like before I arrived and it has been three months now since I have had a drink. I didn't buy any wiskey. I wanted to. Its like they say, "one day at a time ".

I don't like to admit that I have a problem with alcohol and I haven't asked for support from my family. My stopping to drink is all on me and my health. Alcohol was killing me.

I am a great drunk. Funny, socially funny and I don't have any of the negative things that go with drinking. No driving, obnoxious, angry, etc, so no one saw me as having a problem. That was the problem.

One day at at a time and I hope to say in another three months, that I am six months sober.
