Female Vampire (1973)
OH MY GOD. My little sisterās heart almost stopped.
I swear, sharing this could save her life in Gaza.
The intense bombardment woke her up in a state of terror. I hope you wonāt forget her in your prayers.

Every time someone who can help chooses to remain silent instead of participating, the silence grows louder, hope fades, and someone else is left to face the consequences alone. Not everyone who watches is helpless, but silence is a choice. If you cannot help, then speak out. Humanity is measured by what we do when others are suffering, not just by what we say.
Anyone living outside Gaza assumes that aid organizations cover everyone in Gaza, but the truth is they don't distribute money; they distribute food, and not everyone gets their daily meal. So, if you want to help someone...You can help a family or a sick person
My daughter Salma and my niece are suffering from severe anemia due to malnutrition. I wish everyone who shares this a happy day. If you would like to donate, click here. I also hope you will interact. Thank you.
Please help us by sharing and donating. Don't stop. For the sake of my family and children, we in Gaza are living in unbearable conditions.

David Wojnarowicz,1988
Wojnarowicz died in his Manhattan home on July 22, 1992 at the age of 37, from what his boyfriend, Tom Rauffenbart, confirmed was AIDS
His memoir ā a series of essays and vignettes that starts out fairly experimental, at first reflecting on his life as a homeless teenage prostitute at truck stops and in Times Square, then progressively becoming more lucid and political as his partner dies from AIDS ā is one of the best, most underrated American memoirs. Itās called Close to the Knives, one of my absolute favorite books of all time.
His longest, most serious partner was the artist Peter Hujar who helped him quit heroin and mentored him as an artist. The AIDS focused chapters are mainly centered around his rage and grief watching Peter and other friends die.
Wojnarowicz is also one of the artists featured in Olivia Laingās excellent book The Lonely City. Thereās also a documentary about him on Youtube. I really recommend looking into learning about him and his art, itās very interesting and he was incredibly talented
āø vintage black beauty is live!
i've been asked where/how to find early-mid 20th century images of black people to reference when drawing/writing/whatever, so i figured i'd link to my own personal resource anyone is welcome to utilize! :)
with over 900 pins and counting, this pinterest board focuses entirely on black style from the 1800s - 1970s. itās been harder than ever to research historical fashion without running into AI, misinformation, and flat out mislabeling of different eras, so iāve done my best to represent each period as accurately as i can.
iāve included sections for non-caricatured art and illustration, print media, music, entertainment, styling tools, and ads. there are also sections for period pieces and more modern takes on vintage style. i did not add the 80s and 90s because there's already a wealth of imagery and information about those decades, but maybe one day :)
You can make a movie with where the only white character is a man named Ray Cism whose one line of his 16 seconds of screen time is āI seriously hate women and minorities.ā and youāll find fifty bajillion reader x Ray Cism fanfics and renaissance style drawings of him with a halo of golden light
