Congrats for the feature on @nikonaustralia Geri😃🤗👏! ♡ Reposted from @nikonaustralia "I’ve been fascinated with dolphins since my childhood. Whenever I see these beautiful animals my heart fills with joy. A dream of mine came true at the beginning of this year when I had the opportunity to join the team of Dolphin Swim Australia in Port Stephens. They organise the only permitted wild dolphin swim in NSW. That morning started with a colourless, gloomy sunrise. It was a grey rainy day. We were cruising for a while without any promising signs of dolphins. Everyone on board was scanning the horizon and I thought today might be one of those rare days when the dolphins wouldn’t say hello to us. All of a sudden, someone yelled “dolphins”. I looked around and I saw dolphins swimming towards us. After the first pod arrived, other pods appeared and gathered around the boat. In a couple of minutes, 150-200 dolphins were swimming with us. We couldn’t believe it, dolphins were everywhere! It was quite dark due to the thick clouds. Therefore I decided to shoot with a slower shutter speed in order to avoid noisy images caused by the high ISO. The boat was moving and the ocean was quite bumpy so I was sure I wouldn’t get any decent shots that day. I was shocked when I saw this image after lifting my camera out of the Dolphin Soup"". @rugligeri Camera: Nikon Z 6 Lens: NIKKOR Z 14-30mm f/4 S Settings: f/4 | 1/50s | ISO 100 #Nikon #MyNikonLife #NikonAustralia #NikonZ6 #Z6 #NSW #standout #standoutfromthecrowd #dolphin #portstephens #dolphinswimaustralia (at Port Stephens) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNbJCf_DOhL/?igshid=15k7gybeeellr
