It's not for sale, it's just cool. It's a cantilevered cabin in Quebec, Canada. 2bds, 1ba, 1,000sqft.

The entrance is at grade, most of the living areas sit on a structural steel "mast," which the architects said reduces the environmental impact of foundation walls dug into the ground.

The long open main living area starts with a living room space.

Then, in the middle, there's a space for dining. B/c it's elevated, it has a perfect view of the lake, Lac du Brochet .

Love the bright blue kitchen. Behind the kitchen, they placed the 2 bedrooms w/a bath in between.

The open space along the side of the house acts as a hallway. The bedrooms are open.

The bath in the middle has a sink vanity to match the kitchen.

The house has "bat pods" included in the steel mast that offer a nesting place for a local species of endangered brown bats. Very cool.
