Had fun with @jackiepillsbury decorating my door for halloween. . Ā #imaginewalkingthroughaghostthoughĀ Ā #spookyweekendsĀ Ā #daltonsanctuaryfallfestival Ā Ā #doordecorating contest
Jackie: I can't tell you just how happy that makes me, sir. Is there a certain day that would work the best for you?
Jackie: You'll be a wonderful host that's for sure. Plus I already know that any movie will be even better since I'd be enjoying it with such great company.
Jackie: But I am sure you will be great regardless. If there is anything I can do to help please let me know.
Jackie: Perfect! All of that sounds like so much fun. I already know that you will look so incredibly handsome in whatever outfit you wear for them.
Cooper: I'll make the time for you. Tell me what works best for you Jackie Darling.
Cooper: Oh, you're so sweet.
Cooper: Fingers crossed. I'd hate to embarrass Blaine.
Cooper: Show me what you put together, so I can try to coordinate. If you'd like?
Good evening my fellow Daltonites!Ā For those of you wondering just what Halloween specials Iāll be showing tonight, here are the four I will be showing before the double feature movies begin.
Brooklyn 99 ā "Halloween"
Friends ā "The One with the Halloween Party"Ā
Modern Family ā "Halloween"Ā
Parks and Recreation ā "Greg Pikitis"
However, I will stay and show more if people are interested, including:
Community ā "Epidemiology"
Boy Meets World ā "And Then There Was Shawn" Ā Ā Ā
Sabrina the Teenage Witch ā "A River of Candy Corn Runs Through It"Ā
Garfieldās Halloween Special.
I hope to see a bunch of you out for the nostalgia.Ā Ā Ā
Iām just used to people being nosy, so I guess Iām kind of on the defensive. Definitely a tad bit more difficult, but Iāll make due. I know I still have my job when I leave, which is a definite plus for me. Sounds like we are. Iām glad.
Consider this me side-eying you a bit. Just a bit, so long as you take care of them, I donāt see the problem. And yes, I know that can be an innuendo, but you know what I mean. Sometimes itās not appropriate to leave marks⦠sometimes.
Unless you are involved with someone you shouldnāt be involved with I donāt really see a time when itās not appropriate to leave marks.Ā If itās a when/where situation then the Dominant should already be aware and have a different plan.Ā Thatās just my two cents though.
Looks like theyāre showing a couple of pretty good movies tonight. I considered checking it out. Will I have the chance to meet or see any of you there?
Iāll be hosting the movie and television favorites tonight in the auditorium; you are welcome to stop by.Ā Welcome to the Dalton staff.Ā I hope youāve been able to settle in since your arrival.
Jackie: I would be very, very happy if that could be arranged.
Jackie: That would be wonderful if we could. I should have quite a bit of free time, especially for a movie night.
Jackie: Of course it always takes time to prepare for any kind of performance.
Jackie: Really? I was thinking about doing something from the 20s or 30s? Almost like a classic Hollywood look. Or even something more recent. Did you have any specific plan already?
Cooper: Then lets do it.
Cooper: I think I'm hosting a few of them so that would be convenient.
Cooper: Yes, it does.
Cooper: Oh, I love this idea. Count me in. And then I'll probably go 80s the night I perform with Blaine. And maybe something more recent for the last one?
What the hell, Iāll give this a go. Iām looking for someone to submit to me. So reply to this and give me an idea of what youāre consenting to, in public or private like, and weāll talk over your limits and interests, and bobās your uncle- weāll get busy. Bonus points if you want to shag.
No shame in being upfront about needs.Ā Better that than ignoring them and dealing with the fall out from that.
Oh, wow! I just wanted to say a bigĀ āthank youā to whoever nominated me for Mark Leader! Itās such an honor to even be nominated! Mark Leader is such a great position, and I am really looking forward to seeing the outcome of this election. I am around if anyone would like to chat, about that or anything else. Good luck to everyone running- no matter what, this is really a privilege!
Ancient Celts marked Samhain as the most significant of the four quarterly fire festivals, taking place at the midpoint between the fall equinox and the winter solstice. During this time of year, hearth fires in family homes were left to burn out while the harvest was gathered.
After the harvest work was complete, celebrants joined with Druid priests to light a community fire using a wheel that would cause friction and spark flames. The wheel was considered a representation of the sun and used along with prayers. Cattle were sacrificed, and participants took a flame from the communal bonfire back to their home to relight the hearth.
Early texts present Samhain as a mandatory celebration lasting three days and three nights where the community was required to show themselves to local kings or chieftains. Failure to participate was believed to result in punishment from the gods, usually illness or death.Ā There was also a military aspect to Samhain in Ireland, with holiday thrones prepared for commanders of soldiers. Anyone who committed a crime or used their weapons during the celebration faced a death sentence. Some documents mention six days of drinking alcohol to excess, typically mead or beer, along with gluttonous feasts.
Mumming and guising were part of the festival, and involved people going door-to-door in costume (or in disguise), often reciting verses in exchange for food. The costumes may have been a way of imitating, and disguising oneself from, the Aos SĆ. Divination rituals and games were also a big part of the festival and often involved nuts and apples. In the late 19th century, Sir John Rhys and Sir James Frazer suggested that it was the āCeltic New Yearā, and this view has been repeated by some other scholars.
In the 9th century, the Western Christian church shifted the date of All Saintsā Day to November1st, while November 2nd later became All Soulsā Day. Over time, Samhain and All Saintsā/All Soulsā merged to create the modern Halloween. Historians have used the name āSamhainā to refer to Gaelic 'Halloweenā customs up until the 19th century.
Since the later 20th century, Celtic neopagans and Wiccans have observed Samhain, or something based on it, as a religious holiday.Ā Neopagans in the Southern Hemisphere celebrate Samhain on or around May 1st.

People in the Canadian province of Newfoundland still practice the art of Mummering although it seems to have shifted to the time between Christmas and New Years from what I observed while up there filming a small art film.Ā I am guessing it could tie back to the many families roots to the countries of Ireland, England and Scotland.
I even brought back a small figurine that commemorated the act.Ā I am very glad to hear of where this came from.
Seeinā as itās that time again, figured it wouldnāt hurt to make another post about this. Iām Vic Sterling, and Iām apparently runninā for submissive Mark Leader this go-around. Iām around if anyone wants to talk or has questions about my thoughts on the position. Iād work to make things better, and make sure stuff gets done and taken care of. Iām not real good at this general stuff, but like I said you can DM or text me and Iād be down to talk more about it. Good luck to everyone runninā though.Ā
Iām not a submissive but you should talk up what things youāre planning on working on to make things better and that stuff gets done and taken care of.Ā It sounds like you have some rather specific ideas and people would probably enjoy hearing them.
Different from Hollywood, huh? If you ever go back out there, you should take me with you for a few weeks. Iāve always wondered what the West Coast was like, and Iād love to see the differences.
Youāre the bondage teacher, right? I think I remember seeing that on the website when I was looking into the Sanctuary. Thatās such a big thing, Coop. Iām proud of you and Ellis, youāve both come such a long way.Ā
Heās our little sibling, no shame in checking up on him. Iād text and call every now and again to see how heās been too, but Iām happy he had you here in person. Heās really smitten with his Dom, it seems.
Oh? What are they like? Thatās really great, big bro. Iām happy for you.
That I can do Blainers. We could all take a West Coast trip.Ā Some sand, surf and sun.Ā And the Anderson siblings.Ā Ā
I am.Ā Like I said, I was looking to take a little break from the hustle and bustle of LA and reconnect with my Dominant roots.Ā And I have a fair bit of knowledge and skill in this area from .... well letās call it a character study for a role.Ā Els has really come a long way.Ā Itās great to see.Ā Ā
Iāve only been here about two months now Iād say?Ā Smitten?Ā He told me he loves him.Ā Yeah IĀ guess you could say that.
Itās Jackie Pillsbury; sheās a dancer/choreographer.Ā Sheās a very nice woman and I enjoy her company a lot.Ā Thanks B.
Well well well, Cooper Anderson. Itās nice to see you. I canāt really answer that expect for with, it depends on why you think Iām here. If itās because I just wanted to expand my knowledge, then lets say, no itās not wrong at all. I am more than happy to get to know you better for a collaboration. In fact, I insist on it.
Now now, it depends on what fashion accessories. If you say silk scarves, well thatās just smart thinking, because when used right they tend not to leave marks.
No judgements as to why people are here.Ā There are many reasons and theyāre all valid.Ā But itās not New York so I can imagine itās a little more difficult to work here.Ā Good, sounds like weāre on the same page then.
Scarves, belts, ties, all spring to mind.Ā Because sometimes, I definitely want to leave marks.
Jackie: Oh yes, sir. Very much so. Maybe we could do something about that some time soon?
Jackie: Well I certainly hope that you are enjoying it.
Jackie: Of course! Maybe we'll run into each other at one of those movie nights.
Jackie: Both of them are? Oh that is just so wonderful! It must be so nice to have more family here. And he seems like such a kind person. A duet huh? Now that sounds like it would be fun! Are you going to do it?
Jackie: I do not. I was actually just thinking of asking if you would like to go together. We had so much fun going out dancing on the trip.
Cooper: I think that might be possible.
Cooper: We could make plans to attend one even if you'd like. Depending on your schedule.
Cooper: Yes, Blaine has just arrived. I think so, but next week?
Cooper: I would be honored to go with you. What are you thinking of dressing up as for a decade this week?
Jackie: Yes, but I am certainly missing the wonderful views and great company.
Jackie: Experiencing all the seasons is amazing isn't it? I'm loving this cooler sweater weather. The holidays just make it so much more fun as well.
Jackie: That is a great choice, sir. I do hope you can enjoy some of the movies. There are quite a few gems in that genre.
Jackie: I was curious if you happened to have any plans for the dance coming up? I was just over the moon with excitement to see that they were having them weekly.
Cooper: Oh yeah? I find myself missing some of that company too.
Cooper: It's been a while since I've gotten to experience this.
Cooper: I figure why not, you know?
Cooper: Other than going? My little brother Blaine, they're both here now, wants me to do a duet with him maybe, but I suggested maybe next week because I have not sung in forever.
Cooper: What about you? Do you have an escort to the dance tonight?
Blaine: What if we did a Duran Duran duet together, like we used to? I can still find an outfit that would work. 80s fashion is the next best thing to the 70s.
Blaine: Remember when we were the talk of the neighborhood?
Cooper: Well, since there are going to be a couple of dances it sounds like you could do all of it.
Cooper: Oh, how about next week? I need a moment to put something together and to practice.
Blaine: I'm thinking about it. I just need to iron out the details. I'm considering a 70s number with a corresponding inspired outfit, because you know I'm big on my colors and patterns.
Blaine: They're not missing out on much. There's tons of talent here, including yours. Are you performing anything?
Cooper: Don't think, do!
Cooper: Sounds awesome.
Cooper: Oh God, I haven't sung in....years. To be honest, I'd never even thought of it.
Hey, Coop! KSU was great. Just difficult enough to pose a challenge, but not enough so to keep me from graduating at the top of my class.Ā
Iām so happy itās over, but I miss some of the friends I made along the way. However, this campus is so pretty, and everyone Iāve met so far has been so nice.
How has life treated you since we last saw each other?
Hey thatās great Squirt!Ā Iām so proud of you.Ā Ā
The campus here is beautiful and the people are pretty great.Ā Itās different from Hollywood, Iāll say that though.Ā Ā
Things are good.Ā I decided to take a hiatus from persuing acting, felt a need to get back in touch with my Dominant side and given some experience Iāve had in Hollywood, I applied for a job here that I had seen come up, especially since E was here.Ā Not that I was only checking up on Ellis though!
We all just got back from Florida.Ā It was a nice time.Ā Iāve been getting to know a little better someone Iād met in LA before.Ā We worked together on a couple of different projects over the last couple of years.Ā So thatās been good.Ā Ā
