Blaine: Hi, Sir. I was wondering if I could get a little more help with my costume? I'm having trouble matching patterns.

Blaine: My twin and I are coordinating this year, so I'm hoping for it to be as perfect as possible before Halloween. Do you have time at any point in the next week to work on it with me?

Kurt: Why hello! I am more than willing to help you out with your costume

Kurt: That sounds so cute. I'm free most afternoons, so whenever you are able to!

Hi Kurt Hummel, Dominant and fashion designer. How is New York? I’ve never been. And I don’t know anything about fashion, sorry to say. It’s just jeans and t-shirts here. I’m staff here, also a Dominant, and at the moment I’m heading the sports department here. The official job title is sports club captain, but there are other things I’m working on too. 

New York is loud and busy and a dream. I love it. Aww, come on, jeans can be extremely fashionable. It all depends on the cut and how you wear them. Same goes for T-Shirts. If you want, I am more than happy to lend a hand and help you learn, while still being comfortable. What’s some of the other things you’re working on, if you don’t mind me asking

No judgements as to why people are here.  There are many reasons and they’re all valid.  But it’s not New York so I can imagine it’s a little more difficult to work here.  Good, sounds like we’re on the same page then.

Scarves, belts, ties, all spring to mind.  Because sometimes, I definitely want to leave marks.

I’m just used to people being nosy, so I guess I’m kind of on the defensive. Definitely a tad bit more difficult, but I’ll make due. I know I still have my job when I leave, which is a definite plus for me. Sounds like we are. I’m glad.

Consider this me side-eying you a bit. Just a bit, so long as you take care of them, I don’t see the problem. And yes, I know that can be an innuendo, but you know what I mean. Sometimes it’s not appropriate to leave marks... sometimes.

At any rate, it is a true pleasure to meet you face-to-face. Welcome to Dalton. How are you acclimating to things?

Thank you for the warm welcome, Campbell. I’m always happy to meet a fan of my work. I’m acclimating pretty well, I would like to think. It’s certainly a change from New York. People actually will give you the time of day here, so it’s an adjustment for sure.

What are some of the activities you’re in for fun?

It can be yes.  That is why showering pre and post swim is so important as good hygiene.  Sometimes I wear a swim cap as well, although not always, but I’ve kept my hair short and frequenty cut for work, so that helps as well.  I think the pool here might be a salt water/chlorine mix because it’s not like some of the straight chlorine ones I’ve been in.  That being said, I’ve not had any complaints about my hair or skin, in fact my submissive seems to quite enjoy both.  And of seeing me in the pool.  

Fancy no, military school yes. I was a solider before coming here. 

But showering too much can also dry out your skin, I really do hope you have a good moisturizing routine. If not, I can always give you a recommendation. I will say, salt water can be good for your hair as it works as an exfoliator. I mean, as long as your submissive enjoys it, I suppose that’s all that really matters.

Stuff like that train you to be disciplined, doesn’t it? Which is a plus when being a dom, right?

Well well well, Cooper Anderson. It’s nice to see you. I can’t really answer that expect for with, it depends on why you think I’m here. If it’s because I just wanted to expand my knowledge, then lets say, no it’s not wrong at all. I am more than happy to get to know you better for a collaboration. In fact, I insist on it.

Now now, it depends on what fashion accessories. If you say silk scarves, well that’s just smart thinking, because when used right they tend not to leave marks.

It’s super cool, you should head down some time. My Dom, Hunter Clarington, runs the swim team. He’s a resident here. I see my brother, Cooper, has already introduced himself too. Cooper is pretty cool, I did a piece for him a while back. Surprised that he remembered me, but I guess that’s a huge compliment of my talents. Hunter seems really nice, that’s for sure. It’s nice to meet you, Ellis. Is there any piece of art that you’ve done that you’re extremely proud of?

Welcome to Dalton, Kurt.  I’m a fellow Dominant resident Hunter Clarington.  I’m captain of the swim club if you have any interest, and a former Dominant mark leader, so I’ve done the whole answering questions for new residents thing.

I lived in upstate New York for a while, while I was going to West Point.

Chlorine is bad for your skin and hair, and it’s a lot of treatment to really turn around and fix the damage it causes, especially long term. A swim once in a while is not bad so it’s nice to know we have a pool. I’ll keep you in mind if I have any questions, for sure.

West Point, isn’t that like fancy military school?

I’m originally from Westerville, Ohio, but I lived in Lima for a short time during high school. 

I just graduated from KSU with a Bachelor’s in Musical Theater, and now I’m back in Lima to attend classes at the Sanctuary to expand my knowledge about my role in society.

Well, at least I am not the only new person. Hello, Blaine, it’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m Kurt, a dominant resident here at the sanctuary. Was your trip here okay? How are you getting settled in?

I offer group and one-on-one vocal lessons, host weekly music therapy sessions, and I coach the Competition Dance Team here on campus. Cool to meet you, it seems you’re fairly well-known. Nice to meet you, Nick. I might just ask if you’d be willing to do one on one voice lessons with me. It’s been so long since I’ve actually sang, I miss it. Competitive Dance? Well, now you’re just hitting all my old sweet spots that I have neglected since starting college. Depends on if you’re into fashion, honestly. I’ve looked over some of it for sure. I saw Drama and Sewing clubs as a couple that jumped out for clubs. And a couple classes that I should probably take.

I’m an RN, so I have shifts in the clinic and hospital, though I also teach Human Anatomy here as well. We’re glad to have you. You’ve come at a good time, too. Looks like we’re kicking off our Fall Festival tomorrow. Are you into costuming at all, being so big in the fashion world?

It’s a pleasure to meet you, Lorelai. That’s quite a list of jobs, do you enjoy it? I mean in the aspect of always being busy. I adore costuming, I have always insisted on making my own every Halloween. Drove my dad nuts when I forced him to join me because I simply could not just make one.
