Heartbreak can definitely give you a deeper sensibility for writing songs. I drew on a lot of heartbreak when I was writing my first album, I didn’t mean to but I just did.

Gen looked into Norah’s eyes, she nodded and chewed at her bottom lip. “I love you too… I’d hurt anyone who ever hurt you.” Returning the kiss just as deeply and lovingly, she pressed her body up against her and hummed. “It makes sense, but does my submission take care of you? Really?”
She smiled brightly down at Gen. “I believe that, darling.” She chuckled, rubbing Gen’s back lightly. “It does, but it is more than that. Noting the way her brow furrowed, Gen bit her bottom lip and looked straight ahead. She nodded at Norah’s requests, after all she was the dominant in this relationship and the woman she loved. She’d do anything she asked. “Of course, baby. I need to stop letting men hurt me and not take care of it when it’s over.” When the other girl leaned over and kissed her forehead, Gen’s eyes closed briefly. Taking a deep breath, she let it out slowly. “How? How do we take care of you just fine? Sex and snuggles aren’t a cure all.”
Norah paused for a moment, turning Gen to face her and pulling her in close. “Exactly. I love you, Gen and I don’t want to see you get hurt. That’s all, okay?” She kissed her deeply, cupping her cheek gently. “You trust me. I know I can be myself around you and be honest about what I am feeling, no matter what. You let me take care of you and you trust me to do what is best for you and that is huge. “Hello, my love,” she returned the greeting, wrapping an arm around her waist and returning the soft kiss. Gen nodded her head and smiled. She really was ready for an adventure. As they walked towards to the trails, she looked over at the redhead and was marveled at how well Norah knew her. “I’ve been okay. I’ve asked Master Jonathan to bruise me up and fill me with his cum tonight… I’ll ask for aftercare this time, but I wanted you to know… My mental health… well it’s getting better, in small steps. I think, if you’re up to it, I’d like another week in TPE mode. I just feel bad. You take care of Thayne when he’s in little space and me when I need TPE space, but who takes care of you?”
She reached out, taking Gen’s hand as they walked towards the trails. Her brow furrowed slightly at the knowledge that Gen was going to be bruised up by Jonathan again. It wasn’t that she was going to be with him, but that the last time this happened, she hadn’t received proper aftercare. “I expect you to, and I want to know what he does. Pulling in a pair of sturdy hiking boots, something she’d purchased for the camping trip, Gen tied them before standing up. She quickly surveyed herself in the mirror and smiled. In a pair of jean shorts and a tank top, she was ready for whatever.
Gen had no make-up and with Norah, she didn’t feel like she needed to wear it. Grabbing her water bottle, she filled it up with cold water and headed outside to meet the woman she loved. As she stood there, she wondered if the other girl was psychic. Could she tell that the need for TPE was coming over her again?
Norah was excited to spend some time with Gen. She could tell something was off with the woman and wanted to check in and see what she could do to help. She tied her hair up and made her way outside, wearing a pair of yoga pants and a tank. She had a bottle of water in hand and smiled when she saw Gen waiting for her. “Hello, gorgeous.” She wrapped an arm around her, kissing her softly. “ready for adventure?” She asked, smirking. She kissed her once more before pulling back and heading toward the trail with Gen. “How have you been, love? How is your mental health?”

Everyone falls apart, I think. A lot of people try to be brave and not shed a tear. Sometimes when you know someone else feels as s— as you do, or approaches things in a certain way just like you do, it makes you feel better about yourself. Even though my music is melancholy, there’s also joy in that.
