âCâMON, get your lazy arse up â we need to do dueling practice!!â
âUGH. Five more minutes!â
â
The news had come early that morning. He was dead. The safe house had been enveloped in a sombre mood and Dom had mostly kept to herself, she hated seeing others cry and, even after all the death theyâd faced, she still had no clue what to say to someone who had lost a loved one. It was by accident that she ran into Scorpius - she meant it when she said she hated comforting people. Though she could tell he was trying to hide it she could tell the boy was on the verge of tears. âHey.â She spoke quietly, offering him a sympathetic smile. Scorpius looked towards her but didnât say anything. He mustâve been crushed. There was silence between them for what felt like hours, âIâm sorry.â Dom finally whispered, because what else could she say? She stepped forward so the pair were closer and gave his shoulder a comforting squeeze - she hoped he understood its message âIâm here for youâ and then she dropped her hand and left the room.
you were so preoccupied with whether or not you could,                                   you didnât stop to think whether or not you should.
â
âI canât do it anymore.â Saying it aloud was like lifting a weight from her shoulders, she only wished she were brave enough to say it to her family too. âTheyâre all so much braver than I am, willing to put themselves on the line for a greater good.â Tears were beginning to well in her eyes, sheâd promised herself she wouldnât cry. âI guess Iâm just a coward.â She shrugged, turning away from Aurelius. It was embarrassing for him to see her like this. âAdieu aurelius. Vous assurez-vous de leur dire que je les aime et je suis dĂŠsolĂŠ.â She turned back to him once more, to meet his gaze for a final moment. She hoped he would understand why she was leaving them all, and before another moment could pass she was gone.

acrelius:
dominique. he very nearly breathed a sigh of relief when he saw her, but paranoia crept over him, began to suffocate him. âwhy didnât you call out?â aurelius said, his words gruff and tight. she had startled him. in what had been a fraction of a second, she had appeared out of the forest, features nearly intermingling with the woods around them. âi thought i was alone.â it was only then that he lowered his wand, and it was another moment still before he tucked it away. aurelius observed her, saw the way she held herself and noticing the tremor of her body. had he startled her more than she him? or was the wind getting to her, biting at her skin much in the same manner it nipped at his own. âwhat are you doing out here?â he inquired, green eyes narrowing a fraction, the curiosity evident in his gaze.Â
At the sound of a human voice the blonde jumped. Frantically, she reached into her pocket for her wand. âOh itâs you.â Dominique sighed and released her wand, her heart still pounding. âI didnât even see you. I guess I was in my own world.â Noticing the panic on his face, clearly caused by her arrival, she gave a small, apologetic smile. âI guess I just felt like taking a walk. Iâve never been out here before, I was almost worried I wouldnât be able to find my way back out.â She admitted, maybe it was a blessing that sheâd run into aurelius out here. âWhat about you? Come here often?â
acrelius:
the forest was silent, still in such a way that meant death had crept in and taken hold. aurelius had wandered off to be alone, but with the foreboding trees towering around him, he began to doubt his actions. the bitter cold sank into his bones, making an old wound in his knee ache, and it was with twisted amusement that he realized war had made him old, had broken him. âand now it has broken you,â he whispered, reaching out to touch the bark of the tree, fingertips gliding over the rough surface. âor maybe you donât even see it, the war waged around your roots.â his teeth grazed his bottom lip, sinking into the soft, pink flesh. he heard the crunch of leaves and whipped around, his wand in hand, green eyes frantically darting about. had it been an animal? did animals still inhabit these woods? not daring to speak, aurelius stood, knuckles whitening the tighter he gripped his wand, the only comfort that remained to him.
Dominique couldnât tell you what drew her to the forest that day. She wasnât one for nature, and the eerie sounds of branches crackling and birds rustling in the trees gave her an odd feeling of being watched. Despite the thick wool jacket and the scarf wrapped tightly around her neck, Dominique shivered in the cold. Five more minutes. She told herself. Then sheâd try and find her way back out. What if she actually ended up lost in here? Her wand was in her pocket so she wouldnât die from the cold. But what about food? Though she could hear the birds - or at least she assumed they were birds, she couldnât see them. Would she try accio bird? Would that even work? And if so, then what would she do? Her thoughts trailed on, how did Muggles do stuff like this without magic? She was so lost in thought that the blonde hadnât noticed she was not alone.Â

âAlbs is like basically my brain twin. Like sometimes I wonder if someone charmed us as kids to share thoughts or something because he aaalways knows EXactly how Iâm thinking and feeling which not even Vic can do and sheâs my bestie.âÂ
⧠who's your favorite cousin?
Itâs a tight competition, itâs genetic that potter/weasleys are awesome and fun to be around. If I had to choose though, I think @albcs wins. He just gets me and itâs nice to have someone who gets me.
Someone break my Muse's heart in one ask.

âMy thoughts on Lil-Lil? Sheâs family so obviouslyyy I love her, like to pieces and pieces. Iâd die for that girl, no joke. But also sometimes she needs to relax, like yeah our life is superrrr sucky but if we have people who wanna kill us then why not let our hair done before weâre dead?â
slurred words
âWhat do I think of Scorpy?? Welllll I like him.... I donât have a reason not to... or at least I donât think I do. But if Iâm gonna be totallyyyyy honest the guy kinda terrifies me. Like he is ri-DIC-u-lously smart and thereâs always something scary about people who are too smart.â
valcarrcw:
âactually, bitch,â val was almost happy the girl had snapped back; it gave her something to take her frustration out on, and she had plenty. leaning forward with a vicious grin, she continued, Â âconsidering this is my brotherâs bar, i think you can sit where i fucking tell you toâ-so why donât you move the fuck along before i do him a favor and raise the standards of this place by kicking your ass to the curb, hm?â
âGeeze, someone got up on the wrong side of bed this morning.â Dominique didnât know why she was fighting back, this girl meant nothing to her. For a moment she considered just leaving the bar, why should she give business to someone who was related to such a horrible person? âYeah, Iâd like to see you try.â It seemed as though her mouth had a mind of its own, and as soon as the words escaped her lips she felt a wave of dread.
Send âslurred wordsâ to hear my muse describe yours whilst ridiculously drunk.
⧠put this symbol and a question into my ask box for what my character would say in response while under veritaserum.
she had finally, finally been able to get away from her parents after dinner; practically fleeing, sheâd ended up at one of the bars her brother owned that her parents didnât know about; one that served anyone, muggles and wizards alike (filthy money was still money, lloyd said). sitting at the bar, she absentmindedly spun the stirrer in her drink, the noise around her drowned out by her own thoughts, though she wasnât so lost in her own head that she didnât notice when someone took the seat next to her. âyou know, people usually fucking ASK before they force their unwanted company on someone else. seatâs taken.â
Dominique jumped a little when the girl next to her spoke. Though it wasn't unusual for there to be tension between the Order and Death Eaters, this girl's attitude had come from no where - Dominique had never even seen her before. "Considering this is a public space I think I can sit where I damn well like. Maybe try putting a bag on the seat next time." The blonde snapped before turning to face the other direction.
