okay because i am always thinking about dean and his jewelry literally, idk if we've said this yet but if he had kept it until s11 specifically the s11 finale. He goes to say goodbye to everyone and he takes off like a bracelet for each person or something and then he gets to cas and all that's left is mary's ring and cas looks at him and kinda figures that dean just, isn't going to give him anything (and that's okay with him, right? even if it stings it's okay) but then dean just goes "here, c'mon" and holds his hand out. and cas just tilts his head and dean's like "come on, seriously" and reaches down and grabs cas' hand, and then he slips his (mary's) ring off his finger and just. puts it on cas'. and cas just looks down at his hand and where dean's fingers are still circling his wrist and he swallows hard and says "dean, I could go with you" and dean just shakes his head "no, no i need you to stay here" and then they hug and then. well and then i die basically.
