“A master? Good, because I need all the help I can get,” he laughed to himself at the truth–the most he could make were eggs and the ramen you heat up in the microwave or on the stove. He was pretty good at calling restaurants for takeout, though. “I know how to crack eggs and measure things, but other than that, I have nothing.” He widened his eyes and gave a sorry smile, “Instead of thinking of me as someone with no knowledge, think of me as a blank slate, ready to absorb anything you throw at me.”

DongHae thought for a moment. Having a clean slate was not always a good thing. They always tended to need more tutoring that people regularly cooked for themselves, but he was always up for a challenge. He nodded. “Alright then.” He said. “We will start with the basics. I assume you know how to boil water and make ramen. Show me how you do it and I will grade you before we begin.” He said.
