The other’s insistent whining to do something wanted Jonghyun to just roll away into the lake and stay there but at the same time he didn’t want to always have quiet time. “Yah, play what?” He asked the other. Seeming that the other was being too impatient, Jonghyun wiggled in place a bit, trying to make the other notice. 

“EH.” He slightly screaming into the open air. With a turn, he toppled over Dongho’s body until he was on top, his hair on the other’s face. Lying on top of the other like a picnic blanket, he smiled and put his hands behind his head, making it lay on the younger’s forehead. “I don’t feel like moving.”

Really, he could've just dragged this guy along if he wasn't so unbelievably heavy so Dongho continued to struggle until he found himself on the ground. He whined as he squirmed under him in an attempt to break away and get his person space back. "You're so fat~" He complained as he tried once again to push Jonghyun off of him. He huffed and managed to roll the older one back over as he got to his feet, brushing the dirt from his clothing, and kicked him playfully. "Now come on!"

A weight of pressure on his stomach made Jonghyun gag a little, slightly thankful that he didn’t get to eat anything yet. When his eyes suddenly looked up, his vision was to a boy he was familiar with. As a gasp ran out his mouth his whole upper body tried to push up. “Yah, Dongho! Step off me, this instant!” He yelled. It wasn’t that he was mad, he just always felt queasy whenever there’s pressure on his stomach. It was weird, but it was because it was Jonghyun.

His limbs waved the air like bedlam, certain that if he didn this enough the other would finally come off. “Ugh, don’t make me puke on you.” Jonghyun said in a serious tone. His hands covered his face until he released his weapon of puppy eyes. “Please?”

Seeing the amusing sight below him, Dongho bounced slightly to make the older boy flail even more. However, when the action of puking was mentioned, he stopped moving instantly and carefully stepped back onto solid earth and crouched down beside him. His childish expression wasn't what had brought him down but he didn't want the guy's half digested food covering his shoes. He absently plucked pieces of grass from beneath his feet and dropped them onto Jonghyun's face. 

"Come play with me!" Dongho suddenly requested in excitement as he smiled somewhat  with the idea of entertaining himself a bit. Then, he tucked and rolled over him with a giggle as he ended up sitting on the other side of Jonghyun. "Come on!" He got to his feet quickly as he said this and tugged on the other's wrist impatiently.

Leisure Dreaming | Jonghyun & Dongho

The rising sun was at it’s finest in the blue/grey sky on top of the circus. Everybody else here would usually look down or to the fog, paranoid that something would happen if they weren’t cautious. Jonghyun always kept his heads in the clouds though unlike the others, dreaming of his past performances or his future ones as well. It was pretty relaxing actually, just laying down alone released the stress that was contained in his little muscular body. At least no one was yelling at him, wacking him in the head because he was doing something wrong or his vocals were totally out of tune. It was nice that it was peaceful for once.

His back was parallel to the soft green grass, his hands behind his head and a smile on his face. Jonghyun’s eyes were locked at the blazing sun, still squinting even though he had sunglasses on. Humming a piece of a song he was trying to write, the wind was coincidentally in sync with him. It felt like the circus finally understood him for once, the reason why still undetermined. A sigh ran through his mouth, relieved at the silence surrounding him, until a patch of grass rustled.

Throughout the time he'd stayed at the circus, Dongho had never taken his job too seriously considering, well, it wasn't an actual profession. But, despite this, he was confident in his ability to perform it correctly even though the reactions weren't always what he expected. Recently, the tents had been coming to life with noise and the refreshing noises of chatter surrounded him as he made his way from place to place. Now, he was wandering aimlessly like usual without minding anything around him.

His gaze scanned the area until he landed on the perfect opportunity, something impossible to pass up. Keeping his steps light to not disturb this person's sleep too soon, Dongho approached him carefully as he crossed the grass. When he was close enough, he relaxed from his tense state since he'd been focused on keeping quiet and walked right over this person while placing his foot on their stomach to balance his entire weight on them. They hadn't seemed to notice him previous to this, which was his main goal, so he'd usually be satisfied with that much.

Myungsoo’s smile got replaced with a frown. I shouldn’t have left He thought, then sighed “I can’t say I was expecting her to be still here” He said, even though he did. While he was away, all he thought about was his old friends and his girlfriend. But the thought of her leaving the circus didn’t occur to him. “It feels deserted,” He said, gesturing to the canteen. They made their way to where the food was, and it reminded it of Woohyun. Of course he wasn’t going to cry about it, even though he truly missed the guy “The silence is driving me crazy” He said, running a hand through his hair.

You could expect people you were close with to disappear here since it happened quite often. Everyone Dongho had gotten along with had strangely vanished so he'd become quite lonely all by himself. "It's always like this..." Dongho informed him, feeling slightly guilty that his home was bothering the new addition to their circus. He'd been here his whole life so this was all he knew and had no intentions of breaking away. Although he did wish that it was restored with life once again so he could have fun like he used to.

“Yeah?” Myungsoo chuckled “It probably couldn’t take losing the best looking Antipode they have” He grinned, his cocky side showing off again. He glanced around the canteen, and realized what the other was saying. It was empty. There were only a few, counted people around, unlike before he left, it was crowded. “I see…” He muttered, a thought occurring to him “Hey, have you seen Serri lately?” He asked, hoping that his girl friend was still part of the circus.

He laughed along with him as he kept quiet about the Antipode's being short at the moment so there wasn't much competition. "Serri?" Dongho tilted his head to the side as he watched Myungsoo's gaze scan the area. He hadn't seen a lot of people around lately since he hadn't been around much himself. "I can't say I have." He hadn't exactly seen her leave though so it was possible that she was still around. A lot of the performers only came out to do their acts nowadays.

Myungsoo grinned, happy to see a familiar face among the others. He had missed the circus so much, and was relieved that there was still someone whom he knew. “Surprised to see me again?” He asked, chuckling and stepped next to him “I never thought I’d find the circus again, to be honest. It’d be easier if I had a tracker though,” He said, looking at Dongho “How have you been?” He asked, ruffling the other’s hair.

At the question, he gave a short nod and hummed his answer with his smile finally showing after being so lonely around here. "I never thought the circus would find you again!" Dongho changed the wording a bit and thought that he was meant to stay here since they both located each other. "I've been alright... It's been pretty quiet though." Even if he was used to the silence it did get pretty deafening after a while. After Hwayoung had left it was like everything suddenly died.

Myungsoo felt like he was being followed, which soon he found out he was, thanks to the metal bars on the stands he just passed by. He secretly grinned and pretend that he didn’t know someone was following him. When he opened the door to the canteen, he turned around and smiled at the other one, opening the door wide for him and bowing “After you,”

He was secretly surprised and proud of himself for being able to follow this person for such an extended period of time. But that feeling vanished when his presence became known and the other had probably been aware of it for a while know. Dongho gave a sheepish smile and passed through the entrance before turning to watch Myungsoo follow through. "It's been awhile, hyung!" He said in excitement as he walked beside him this time.

Good to be back

After setting up his tent and tossing his bag inside, Myungsoo felt a tingle of happiness as he looked around the place. He’s been gone for six months since his the day his father called and asked if he could stay over and help with the business. Being the only family he has left; he obliged and didn’t complain. It was about time he returned to the circus—with his second family—and continue living life freely. No stop-moms, no business stress; just doing the things he love for the people.

He breathed the fresh air and smiled. He almost forgot how happy his life was when he started the circus—almost. He stretched out and readied himself for a new start. Of course, a new start shouldn’t be greeted with an empty stomach. He made his way to the cafeteria, hands in his pocket.

Perching by a tree, Dongho spotted a single person heading towards the canteen. The person looked strangely familiar yet it'd be quite strange if it happened to be who he thought it was. It was rare for people to stay around the circus for long or even come back after they had left since it was particularly hard to find; impossible in some cases. He got to his feet and hesitantly followed the male through the entrance, keeping his eyes on his back. He was unsure as to whether he should speak or not since he wasn't exactly positive if he had the right person but they'd notice his presence soon enough.

Every tent was silent at the moment so Dongho paid close attention to keeping his steps quiet, not wanting to startle anything. It'd be nice to have some socialization for once since it'd been quite a while for him. But it seemed like every time he had the sudden urge to interact it wasn't exactly an option for him. He strayed farther away from the main area of the circus but made sure to stay within reasonable boundaries. It wasn't possible for him to get lost within this distance and the fog wasn't something he wanted to run into even if it was still daylight. He kept his gaze lowered and headed off no where in particular.
