Update 10/6: things are weird and tense here now. I'm still not entirely sure why things went the way they went last night. even the people who have been here longer than me are thrown off by it. I think there are two halves of the higher staff who are at some kind of impasse about how the shelter has been monitored, but everything I've discussed is a rumor that I don't know how to confirm. the rumors *do* back up some things I've observed, but that's not confirmation. I'm trying to stay uninvolved and keep to myself, I'm usually really good at that but things aren't usually this tense here. a few evictions happened last night and I'm not trying to be next on the list. if anyone is able and willing to help me get out of here a little faster, I'm about 70% towards my goals, anything helps!
