Jojo's Bizarre Adventure AU Idea- What if DIO was leader of Passione? /What if Nukesaku didn’t fight the Crusaders?

Premise: Nukesaku listened to the others’ remarks and did not get involved in the fight against the Joestars. Instead he hid himself until the aftermath of Jotaro’s battle against DIO and managed to grab a very small piece of DIO from the carnage when no one was looking, thus saving DIO’s life. Eventually DIO regenerates his body and goes off on another search to replenish his forces. His travels eventually led him to Italy, due to the suspicion that a stand user is behind the rise of crime in the country. While there he learned about Passione and its leader’s existence Diavolo.

Initially DIO debated whether or not to flesh bud the man when found but upon seeing his fight with Polnareff, DIO decided the man would be more trouble than he was worth. So he came up with an idea, while Polnareff was fighting Diavolo- DIO used his Time Stop ability right when Diavolo used his own Time ability. After Diavolo’s ability ran out DIO, with a few seconds to spare, moved Polnareff’s arm and Diavolo’s position allowing his enemy to kill his target while neither combatant was aware of the vampire’s involvement. Now with Diavolo out of the way, DIO made himself the secret boss of Passione with no one any wiser in order to build himself an army of stand users to resume his goal for ascension.

Notes about the AU

DIO for the most part kept Passione the same in order to avoid drawing too much attention. However he did create a new group within the organization that searches and abducts non-aligned Stand Users, often ones who are born or gained their stand without an arrow. A bunch of the people captured by the group end up having a flesh bud implanted and later made members of this group. 

Another change he made is that every time a new member joins Passione DIO gets information on them. This ends up causing him to become aware of Giorno Giovana’s existence early on.

About a month before the main story, the Joestar family ended up having that all too familiar sense that DIO is back and managed to narrow down his location to Italy. Jotaro ended up forming a new group of Crusaders against DIO with Polnareff, Koichi, Josuke, and Okuyasu. The group ended up gaining an unwanted sixth member in the form of Shizuka (who is 2.5 years old), she snuck onboard the plane Jotaro used during his trip from America. Joseph didn’t join them because he’s too old and frail, instead he uses his Hermit Purple to give the group an idea where DIO is.

When the group gets to Italy, Koichi is sent by Jotaro to look for Haruno Shiobana to find out if he is anything like his father and if there has been any contact between them. When Koichi finds Giorno and discerned that he isn’t a bad person he ends up rejoining the Crusaders in their search for DIO.

The AU starts out very similarly to the cannon Part 5 on Giorno’s side, however things start to change with the boss’s order on how to bring Trish to him. Instead of the original one person that comes with Trish, The Boss (DIO) ordered the newest member of the group to bring her to his location which is on the bottom floor instead of the top.

Upon encountering DIO who is wearing a cloak, both Giorno and Trish are hypnotized by the man in order to avoid another instance of a potential pawn escaping, however Giorno managed free himself and tried to attack the man. DIO dodged the attack for the most part, though part of his cloak is destroyed revealing his head and neck. Giorno ends up seeing the Boss’ face to find out it’s his father DIO. DIO compliments Giorno on breaking free from his hypnotism, and tries to talk him into joining his side. Giorno refuses and fights DIO. The fight is mostly one sided due to DIO’s stand ability with DIO not even taking his fight against his son seriously. DIO ends up beating Giorno and when he has the boy at his mercy, a rumbling occurs from the building.

Outside on the other side of the building Josuke, Okuyasu, and Koichi are destroying the building in order to let in some sunlight to try and pin DIO down while Jotaro tries to fight DIO head on. The destruction causes Bucciratti and the gang to head over to the building to try and save Giorno and Trish from what appeared to be another assassination attempt. Bucciratti gets there first to find Giorno badly beaten and two unknown adults fighting it out. Giorno manages to hand off Trish to Bucciratti and tries to tell him about the boss’ true identity but gets hit in the head by DIO. Bucciratti ends up having to rescue both Trish and Giorno while the rest of the gang are still trying navigate through remains of the building. After the group escaped the island, DIO now ends up having to deal with the both the new Stardust Crusaders and the Bucciratti gang trying to kill to him.

Hi I've been reading through your blog and saw your post on turning Parallax possession similar to a virus. I'm very interested in this as I'm not very knowledgeable about viruses. Could you explain it a bit more in detail on how it would work?

so, immunologically speaking, your body protects you from foreign proteins, bacteria, and viruses based on what it recognizes. if the body can recognize an antigen as having been there before, it responds and fights it off much quicker, because it's using a secondary immune response.

A primary immune response takes at least a week to develop, because first the body has to recognize the antigen as bad, and then develop a response for it (antibodies.) In that time span, the antigens overwhelm the immune system, and that's when you get sick, or a cut gets infected. once your body starts producing antibodies to beat up that foreign bacteria/virus, you start to recover, and then your body will store the knowledge of what that antigen is made of, so that if it ever comes back, it can respond quicker.

(you can see here, primary immune responses are much slower than secondary because they don't recognize the antigen right away.)

This is why we have vaccines, we introduce a dead or weakened antigen into the body, our immune system learns it & learns how to beat it, and so we're less likely to get sick (or less likely to be *severely* sick) when we're introduced to the antigen in full force, say... in the height of flu season.

Thinking of Parallax as a virus requires the mindset that Hal hasn't experienced fear since he was a child. He doesn't have anything to lose because in his mind, the worst thing that could happen already did, when he watched his father die. So, it's like Hal's skipped his flu shot for like 15 years. Eventually, the flu virus (or in comics' case, Parallax) will change enough that the body doesn't recognize it right away, and you get sick.

In this, weakness would be exploited by Hal experiencing the grief and fear of having Barry die, and then the destruction of Coast City.

(side note, if anyone remembers where this panel comes from, lmk because I don't remember the exact issue and I would like to know.)

The implication is then that the virus overwhelmed Hal's body, and entered his CSF(cerebrospinal fluid)/went to his brain and caused encephalitis—massive brain inflammation. The symptoms of encephalitis vary, but can include seizures, headaches, light/sound sensitivity, loss of consciousness, and depending on the localization of the swelling, personality and emotional or psychological changes.

So: thinking of Parallax as a virus means thinking that Hal got an infection to the extreme of it going into his central nervous system, and affecting his brain. This means it could potentially (and in this case, did) alter his personality and emotional state to that of what we see when he is Parallax, where he kills his friends and fellow corpsmen, and occasionally acts as though he's helpless to stop himself from completing the tasks he has set out for himself—claiming all of the Green Lantern energy and returning the universe to what he believes is its best possible state.

The hard part of this is that DC created the retcon and used it as a scape goat without any real research/scientific background, and then never continued their explanation. There should have been real physical and mental consequences to Hal having an "infection" for as long as he did, and i think they could have further addressed his feelings of guilt and better explained how this meant anyone could potentially be infected by Parallax.

I really hope this made sense, but hit me with some follow up if you have more questions.

Hi it's me again, I have a couple more questions to ask. 1) (Don't remember if you guys already written or explained this earlier) Is the reason why Terminal!Geno never turned into Error involved Blackout intervening, similar to how Fantasy intervention with Staged? 2) In your Swapfell Vocal what is Chara's relationship with Vox and Tarnish like? How did they befriend them?

1) Terminal!Geno just got lucky! It had to happen somewhere, and he's the one guy whose DT experiment went exactly that way. And since his DT is now stable and he’s got the security of control over the timeline, there’s absolutely no reason for him to futz around with experiments that might risk him falling into the AntiVoid. Swapfell Vocal stuff under the cut it got very long:

2) Swapfell Vocal I'm torn between the whole usual Undertale multiple routes thing, but in the 'main' route Chara is a preteen who does befriend both Vox and Tarnish. I think Chara wouldn't let anyone try to adopt them, but friends are good. Their secret favourite friend is probably Vocal Undyne (name tbd), or maybe their ghost friend (Frisk). Actually now I have decided that the person Chara trusts most in the world is Frisk and they can share a birthday (like a hundred years apart lol) so Chara kind of thinks of them like their twin.

Early after meeting them, Tarnish feels like 'hm something about this kid is kind of interesting' (the thing is that Chara's overly formal language and rabid violence when they feel they are threatened is reminiscent of Vox, actually).

I think... On a neutral route, if Chara has killed some monsters (even in Snowdin) in a way that's understandable as self-defense Tarnish might actually open up to them faster than on a pacifist route, because pacifism in this world is seen as either naive, deluded, or pretense - and Chara does have a lot of anger and violent impulses from trauma, which they don't hide too well even when they're trying to 'be good'.

So Tarnish probably sees Chara as something to use against the Empress- if they kill her that would be great, actually, but if they're too weak he's definitely going to take their SOUL himself. So on a neutral or pacifist route he might have a short battle in Snowdin that he puts very little effort into, and then he follows them through the underground to snipe anyone who kills them + take the SOUL. But also LEARNING to CARE about them against his will.

I think that unlike a game, a low LV Chara probably has to really stop and backtrack several times before they can make it through the Underground, and Tarnish is one of the only people willing/able to let them stay- and Chara can sort of trust in his motives to do so (he charges them extortionately for sure).

On a pacifist route they'd meet Vox for the first time if they go with Commander Alphys into New Home, but he wouldn't actually realize they're a human at that point. His first impression is 'SWEET MERCIFUL EMPRESS FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE TO TRY AND CONVINCE THE COMMANDER TO WOMAN UP AND TALK TO THE SCIENTIST'.

The next meeting is an official Judge vs Human in the Judgement Hall, of course. Obviously if they killed someone after meeting him on a pacifist route he'll be beyond furious, but otherwise he's thrown off his game.

- Chara starts their journey at LV 2, not from killing anyone but past traumatic events and violent self-defense. Vox's voice has very very little effect.

However, after the battle goes on long enough, Vox probably manages to paralyze Chara but kind of gets locked in place himself doing that so he just starts monologuing and getting kind of uncomfortably honest. Chara, who was considering forcibly reLOADING to get out of this, goes 'damn you need therapy' and waits until he gets distracted and then runs.

So they can't beat him on their own. Solution: recruit friends.

I'm imagining some sort of incredible comedy of errors where everyone really tries to fight each other all the time but somehow nobody manages to fight. Vox gets dragged out of the Palace against his better judgement. The brothers actually see each other in person for the first time in years. Undyne and Alphys get together.

Just for fun I think Vox can have a rematch with Chara in Snowdin as his 'can I actually rebel against the Empress' pivotal moment, and Tarnish can start a fight that actually is just a talk (no bullets but stuck in basically a cage of bones) with Chara in the Judgement Hall as he tries to make a decision whether or not to let Chara go face the Empress (and risk her becoming a god-like being) or to take their soul + use it for his rebellion.

BAD ENDINGS:

if Chara kills even one monster they have to kill Vox as well, theres no convincing him to stop

- The battle gets significantly harder depending on how many monsters have been killed, but Chara would probably get up to at most LV 15 of their own will in this world, and because of their Determination, Vox isn't able to do the sort of instant-kill effect he can on most monsters with LV; just lots of damage.

- On a no mercy route in a 'game' world where Chara is influenced by a player, Vox's voice has NO effect on them. Just to note, Chara wouldn't go out of their way to kill everyone naturally, so a no mercy route really requires some external influence.

if Chara kills everyone in Snowdin, Tarnish will confront them at the end with a very tough battle. if killed, obviously Vox has to be killed as well, but Chara can fight empress Toriel after and take her soul and leave in various neutral routes

any other number of kills in Snowdin (or anywhere else) is kinda like Tarnish hates it but hes got other things to worry about, he's willing to let them pass if they spare him.

but if Chara doesn't kill Tarnish and has killed others, Vox will not stop- so Chara will have to kill him- and if Chara kills Vox and Tarnish is still alive, Tarnish will show up having successfully assassinated the Empress (thus removing her Boss Monster soul from Chara's reach and thus there is no escape for Chara) and use the human souls against them

surprise extra special fun death boss time. If Chara wants to play mean they'll get mean.

Hi it's me again, I have a few more questions in regard to fantasy!verse. 1) Due to Artiste!Mettaton being self aware in the loops like Stage, did he change up his strategies/actions towards Poppet!Frisk depending on their actions that loop? 2) When and how did the twins get separated from each other in the past? 3) How does Blackout determine when an AU should be destroyed and does he sometimes gets into arguments/fights with Fantasy over their fate?

1. Artiste doesnt get crystal clear memories from other loops, more of like... a cliffs notes of what happened (from his pov).

So regarding like, FIGHTs, he'd probably stay relatively similar since theres not that much time in a loop to rehaul his whole style. He might have a Special Attack, perhaps..?

But yes, he definitely also changes up his actions and I bet he does different broadcasts (canon Mettaton comes up with cooking, newscasting, theatre and just fight/dancing without much prep so I think artiste can work with the loop time) ... at the same time, he's also been in flowey's loops too so he probably feels a little bit stuck in a rut- but Poppet would be a new inspiration, in a way! (the feelings they inspire are. bad. initially)

2. The twins' backstory is a little wibbly wobbly but so far @candy-cryptid and I were thinking that they'd eventually stop in a Dancetale (2 dads acquired!), then accidentally portal to a Swapfell (2 more dads acquired!), and then from there Blackout would try to figure out how to portal and then get himself stuck in the Anti-Void.

His goop might start glitching a bit then (but it only really goes weird once he starts living in there full time), but he wouldn’t actually be stuck for long enough to become an Error or anything. However, he wouldn't be able to get out by himself- its his eventual realization of the resonation of his half-apple soul with his brother's that shows him the way out, like following a string of fate...

Fantasy + Blackout don't actually get separated from each other for long (except by choice once they're adults). That's one big difference between them and their canon counterparts- they run, but they do it together.

3. Destruction criteria... Well, just negativity isn't enough. There's obvious things like viruses/extreme corruption/hacking damage or worlds just totally falling apart, as well as worlds that never got finished (even if Fantasy tries, he can't be everywhere, and if the Creator leaves then he can't make them come back) and are slowly corroding.

He generally scans over worlds based on emotional tone but if anything catches his interest he'll observe the world for a while without interfering - he figured out how to set up viewing screens in the Anti Void.

He probably has a grudge against a lot of bitty aus because they're extremely dystopian under the surface, like snuff films.

Blackout's also not a fan of endless time loops with a lot of negativity- he'll generally try to remove the loop source first, but might just scoop the inhabitants out and dump them with Core Frisk somewhere and destroy the world instead.

He has a bit of a weak spot for someone pleading for anyone to help them when they know no help will ever come.

Negativity always exists, but a world that drives despair is disgusting to him.

When they were younger, Blackout and Fantasy used to argue a lot and SERIOUSLY about destroying AUs. But after one particularly terrible AU where Fantasy wouldn't back down, Blackout just left him there in disgust... Fantasy got very badly hurt before Blackout felt it. Blackout destroyed the world (there were probably a handful of monsters on Fantasy's side, but Blackout wouldn't have cared about that) and took Fantasy back to the Anti Void to heal. They've had a lot of conversations about why and what and how destruction can work and how Fantasy can't destroy himself trying to help when people don't want to be helped.

Now, they generally travel separately and they understand what each other are doing and trust they'll make good decisions. Blackout doesn't actually interfere/destroy worlds nearly as much as Fantasy does, and if he's ever uncertain he can always call for his brother and they can debate.

But if they both DO find the same AU and both STRONGLY feel they're right to try and save/destroy it, you know what might work? Let's fight for it. The extra time spent fighting might tip the world over one way or another/reveal more information that might change their minds. Also, since the twins are pretty equally matched, the winner is probably the one who is boosted by the AU in question- if it's more positive, Fantasy wins and has a better argument for his ability to fix things, and vice versa.

Even if one wins over the other, they'll still help their brother with things like destroying hackers/time travel misusers (Blackout) or deglitching/filling gaps/helping evacuate (Fantasy)

Hi I have been reading your fantasy!verse posts and I find it really cool. I have a few questions; 1) Does Stage know Fantasy!Dream's involvement with his AU? If not what would his reaction be if he finds out? 2) Also how does Fantasy!Dream view other AUs and their inhabitants? Does he care more about maintaining the AU narrative or does he care more about the inhabitants?

1. Staged doesn't really know during his own AU story, although he has some strange half-memories of 'someone' appearing and the world being 'unfinished' (basically some extra meta-knowledge about the world as a story/creation);

after meeting Fantasy properly at some point he probably listens to Fantasy explaining how he helps AUs grow and goes 'sounds great!' and goes off to go have a bit of an existential crisis because haha does THAT put some memories in context

2. Fantasy doesn't make it his responsibility to make people happy, but he definitely doesn't prioritize the AU narrative over any of the inhabitants. He's more of a hands-off helper in creating worlds by supporting Creators and their ideas (good or bad), and then exploring worlds and meeting people. He doesn't abandon people suffering right in front of him, and he'll help out if asked, but he has a bit of an outsider mindset of 'it's better if real people take care of their own problems' - if he helps, it's mostly as a regular monster, not some sort of god.

Things that he might actually interfere with are things like glitches, corruption, hacks, and incompleteness/void areas - which would generally place the inhabitants in danger (unless the inhabitants have decided to BE the danger in which case he might oppose them).

Hi I noticed you have a few pictures and even a comic of Bedivere Alter. I'm curious especially from that nightmare comic involving the sixth singularity, how does Bedivere Alter feel or act like around the other KOTR? Does he resent them at all over everything that happened leading to his king's death and the singularity?

Warning this is a long post.

        I reread the annual of the new Green Lantern series for this week and something feels off. I might be the only person with this concern (and I hope I'm wrong about this) but while the issue has Jessica and readers seeing a positive ways to use fear I'm getting this sinking feeling that Jess might do or go down a slow slippery slope that will end badly for her. Hear me out throughout the issue there are these creatures that keep appearing in her dreams and whispering in her ear like a snake whispering temptation to an unsuspecting Eve. Also while Jessica did save the day, she also was the one who allowed the pirates to have complete control of the ship by making everyone else submissive to their control. While Jessica wanted to use empathy, she wasn’t being empathetic she only giving the people’s emotions a glance before she (and the ring/Sinestro) created a half formed idea what was wrong and tried to take control. If it wasn't for Hal's distraction there could be the possibility Jessica wouldn't have figured out since the pirate leader would of probably hadn't acted out as quickly as she did.         Also I've been getting cult vibes throughout this whole issue, I know Jessica is aware of Sinestro being a manipulative person, but Sinestro did the one thing most morally questionable/bad groups due to decent people, they give them the illusion of control and choice. He let Jessica go back home because deep down he knew she would end up crossing paths with someone in trouble that would required her help, use her powers, and decide to keep them to do good. This resulted in Jessica doing exactly what he wanted. Also as mentioned earlier Jessica is listening to voices in her dreams those things/beings don't look friendly, and they're telling her all the things that could sound appealing for someone not sold on joining the Corps. Even at the end when she's charging her ring, those creatures appeared in the background with a sinister smile on their faces, which gave me the impression of that Japanese puppetry. In it the puppeteers even though their visible in their black garb they have colorful puppets that tend to take the focus of the audience away from them. I feel like Jessica is being manipulate either by Sinestro, the yellow energy, or both but like the puppet show, Jessica and possibly the audience are being pulled in to the narrative being crafted by them.

Ion and his connection with Aya getting explored more.

Possible appearance of Ophidian and callback to Orange Lantern Hal with the revelation that Ophidian can influence people by being near or touching its battery.

Since she appeared in a GLTAS related sketch, Arisia making an appearance- hopefully without the disturbing romance Hal this time.

In fact more of the alien GLs appearing; Sodam Yat, Leezle Pon, Isamot Kol, Varth Sarn, Boodika, G’Nort, and all the others.

The Spectre appearing and the potential conflict and drama he could cause while possessing Hal. For one, Razer’s past actions did blow up a planet and killed at least one person, resulting with the spirit trying to kill the latter while bonded to Hal. This could lead to an interesting and terrifying situation for both parties involved.

The Interceptor crew coming to Earth and learning/dealing with all crazy Earth stuff including

Crazy and dangerous Earth supervillains such as Hammond and Black Hand with the latter making a reappearance for Blackest Night.

The existence of meta-humans and their confusion and reaction on how some humans could have superpowers and abilities while others don’t.

Interactions and reactions to some of super heroes including:

Batman: a man who dresses as a bat to scare criminals who have no bat-like abilities or powers. Maybe a one punch reference.

Superman: the shock that there is a living Kryptonian as well as another fellow survivor of a destroyed planet for Kilowog.

Flash: Hal’s best superhero friend on Earth surprising the crew with his super speed and getting into a debate/argument on who was the “bad” influence to Hal; Sinestro or Ollie.

Green Arrow: The crew meeting Ollie and learning that Hal is the more responsible/reasonable one compared to Ollie’s even more rebellious and anti-authority attitude.

Martian Manhunter- Kilowog and other alien GLs reacting negatively towards him and revealing that Martians and GLs don’t normally get along real well.

Just them learning how much of a crazy and danger prone planet Earth is in general. 

Tom, Hal’s non-superpower bff, appearing

The Jordan family appearing and Hal’s complicated history and relationships with his family

Airwave III (Hal’s cousin) would’ve been interesting and funny as both are mask wearing superheroes and are both named Hal Jordan.

Blackest Night possibly as a season 3 or 4 arc.

Nekron and the Black Lanterns appearing

The science director becoming a villain and finally getting her undead blue butt kicked for all the stuff she did.

Evil Star and his starlings appearing with any one of his evil plans would make for a decent adaptation. Especially since one Blue Lantern’s backstory involves him which could lead to more Blue Lantern stories with Blue Lantern Razer getting involved as well.

Also his origin story involving him killing his race which could put him at odds with Kilowog

Indigo Tribe appearing and their creepy origins.

Simon Baz appearing- Seriously why hasn’t this man gotten an animated appearance yet?!

Krona reappearing as an antagonist either as an energy ghost or physical being and doing evil for science or vengeance.

More Guardian secrets and problems i.e. First Lantern, imprisoning Parallax in the Central Battery, and much more.

Alpha Lanterns and all the potential problems associated with them and the Guardians

More alternate universe traveling with Earth-2 and Earth-3 being must haves.

Hal encountering his evil counterpart Power Ring and a fight breaking out could eventually lead to…

Jessica Cruz appearing, preferably as Power Ring first then a GL. 

The Controllers appearing along with their GL knock off group, the Dark Stars. If the writers and/or directors don’t want the Guardians to turn evil, then this group is perfect for “Guardians who gone too far with establishing order” plot point as they’re the ones who make powerful and dangerous weapons that could easily fall into the wrong hands when they’re not trying to copy the Guardians.

The Qwardians as well as the possible escalation that would culminate with them working with/for Sinestro.

More Larfleeze appearances and maybe have him learn he has a long distant relative in the form of G’Nort.

We (myself and @mark-xeen ) personally never really saw it as a story celebrating outcasts, though it certainly stars them: The main characters are meant to be a break from the classic anime-heroine archetypes, which makes them outcasts in the typical magical-girl style anime world, so it IS a big part of their character. However, they don't really get celebrated for being outcasts in any capacity- the world as a whole will never acknowledge them as heroes or celebrate them, even after they've saved everyone.

Instead, the core elements of the story revolve more around embracing what makes you who you are, even if it makes you an "outcast", using it as a source of strength, and accepting the fact that not everyone is going to see you as the hero of your own story.

Anti-Magical Girls’ Mascot- Bakemono

Real Name- Bakemono

Age- about 1900 in Earth Years

Bio- The “mascot” of the group. The demonic-looking being from another world, Bakemono is the one who gave the Anti-Magical girls the ability to fight back against the evil Magical Girls in their town to combat their shared enemy: The source of the Magical Girls’ powers- the tyrannical Shojo Empire.

How does Anti-Magical Girl Squad differ from other dark takes on magical girl media, like the infamous Puella Magi Madoka Magica? Does it lean on the extreme end of cynicalism regarding magical girls, or is it a more balanced take?

Me and @mark-xeen would say that it's a more balanced take: There is definitely a darker element to it that will be brought to light with time, but the main theme of the story is "things are not always as they appear". One of the main parts of the story is about how people's preconceived notions/beliefs and perspectives can affect ones judgement about morality. The main themes rely on picking apart different characters ideas of "good" and twisting them into something "bad" by simply looking at them from a different point of view- though, the opposite is also true since, to the public, the Anti-Magical Girl Squad seem like stereotypical villains rather than heroes.

Are there any good magical girls or bad people that are against the magical girls in you and your sister’s Anti-Magical Girl Squad story? Without spoiling anything, are there any planned redemption arcs, as is commonplace in magical girl media?

There are definitely a few people who are against the Magical Girls in the story, most of them being people whose mentalities align with the Anti-Magical Girl Squad's. One main non-spoilery group I can confirm would be Butch Delinquent Girl's (Yanko's) gang- they're like their leader in that they don't care about the pretty, sparkly Magical Girls and listen to their leader when she says that they're "just a bunch of whiny b!tches".

As for redemption arcs, there are some spoilery aspects of that answer, but what we can confirm is that none of the actual Magical Girls will be deserving of a redemption arc- they're evil, two-faced jerks and we like them that way. And, as @mark-xeen would describe them, "modern day quislings".

Anti Magical Girl 1- Chubby Gothic Girl

Real Name- Chabiko Gosu

Grade- 3rd year

Weapon- A black laced umbrella with dual modes. Mode 1: a blunt weapon that can shoot energy blasts from it’s tip. Mode 2: when folded up, it transforms into a scythe with the handle becoming the scythe’s blade.

Bio- The leader of the group- very stoic and reserved in her emotions because she feels that being the leader means that she needs to keep herself together in front of the others, she cares very deeply for them and takes her role seriously.

Do you plan to make the Anti-Magical Girl Squad into a comic or novel someday? Or is just a collection of ideas, concepts, and a rough draft/outline at the moment?

Me and @mark-xeen would LOVE to make it a comic or novel someday. We've pretty much planned out the plot for at least the first "season" of the story, and she's been working to write it out. If enough people show interest in it, we might talk about starting up a patreon or kofi or something to save up money to properly pay an artist for the comic. It's definitely nice to know that we've already got a few people asking about it, so thank you SO much for showing interest in our project ^///////^~<3

Anti Magical Girl 2- Emo Girl

Real Name- Emoko Harai

Grade- 2nd year

Weapon- A pair of black pistols with red grips that fire magical energy bullets.

Bio- The “ace” of the group- the most sarcastic and soft-spoken of the team, Emoko can often come off as nihilistic and even gives off villain-vibes because of her negative/gloomy attitude towards most things, but she’s usually cool under pressure and will even make dark jokes when things don’t look good (very gen-z “well, it looks like we’re gonna die” style humor).

Anti Magical Girl 3- Masochistic Girl

Real Name- Masako “Masoko” Emuraji

Grade- 2nd year

Weapon- A silver and black handled box cutter that can extend it’s blade to the length of a short sword.

Bio- The chuunibyou of the group- has a very bubbly and upbeat personality despite her name, and would probably be considered an average happy-go-lucky teen if it weren’t for her strange and obsessive belief that causing herself pain acts as a sort of magical “good luck ritual” that protects those she cares about. (Her friends do see this behavior for the unhealthy coping mechanism that it is and make sure she doesn’t cause permanent harm or starve herself)

To be honest Masochistic Girl is probably one of my favorite characters of the group. I like her for 1) being a creepy good guy, a type of character I enjoy a lot in media due to their unusual behavior and still being overall good/heroic character. 2) is because out of all the members she has one of the most “evil” design and abilities in the team imo, since one of the main parts of the story is that the group appear more villainous than the actual villains I enjoy both the irony as well as having a character type that isn’t shown a lot as a good guy.
