Today I wrote about my hike to the top of the Diamond Head, the volcano of O’ahu, and another scenic view over Honolulu and Waikiki. Check out:

I am not a food blogger and I am also not able to take as tasty looking pictures of food and groceries as others, but I wanted to share one of my favorite dishes: Napking/Bread Dumpling.
Hungry? Check the recipe on https://donkajustdoit.wordpress.com/kitchen/napkinbread-dumpling/
Walking the shoreline of Waikiki Beach is a real pleasure! Check out the 3rd part of The Hawaiian Story:

Next to knitting and walking the dog in the park, I made some candles. It's very easy, you just need a bowl or something you want the candle to be in (and it should not be flammable), wicks (supply store) and a pot with water. Another important thing is the wax. I keep all of the left overs from other candles.
Put the bowl with the wax into the pot with water. Make sure to slowly heat the water up, it should not boil. When the wax melted, switch off the heat and wait a bit until the water and the bowl cool down. When the wax firms up and the surface is solid, you can take the bowl out of the pot and put the wick into the middle. The height of the wick depends on the diameter of your bowl (if it's a huge bowl, you might need to stick some more wicks into it). Once the wax completely cooled down, you can use the candle.
When you add differently colored wax, new colors are created and it's a lot of fun.
1 out of 4 pieces done! It is so cosy and warm; I can't wait to wear this awesome cardigan!
