Fear
can lead you to strength.
Don't blame yourself
It's not your fault if others lie about you because you know.
It's not your fault if others don't see who you are because someone will.
It's not your fault if others tear you down because you will rise.
You're not weak
You just went through too much shit.
Don't judge people
based on their appearance.
Sometimes...
...you discover friendship in people you'd never expect.
It's not your imagination
Most people are awful.
Believe in yourself
Your heart is a treasure trove: explore it.
Book recommendation
"Lessons in Chemistry" by Bonnie Garmus
The novel serves as a brilliant satire of the patriarchal structures of the 1960s—issues that, unfortunately, still feel incredibly relevant today. Bonnie Garmus pulls no punches in showing how women in science and academia were systematically underestimated, sidelined, and reduced to domestic roles.
Elizabeth Zott, her daughter Mad, and her partner Calvin Evans are all profound outsiders—people who do not fit into the neat, conventional boxes society has built for them. The book acts as a fierce validation for anyone who has ever felt like they don't belong, proving that being different isn't a flaw; it is a strength. It reminds us that our worth is intrinsic, not dictated by a broken system.
While the society around them is riddled with prejudice and mediocrity, the narrative introduces beautiful pockets of genuine human connection. Profound characters like Miss Frask and Reverend Wakely show that even in a cynical world, deeply good, empathetic people exist. Balancing this depth is the brilliant, dry humor of Calvin, Mad, and Six-Thirty (the dog). Their wit is wonderfully deadpan, stemming from fiercely rational minds navigating a completely illogical society. They are as hilariously funny and cute as they are uncompromisingly themselves.
The book beautifully uses science as a metaphor for human relationships. Just as certain elements bond to create entirely new, resilient molecules, the characters in the book form an unconventional, chosen family. It’s a powerful reminder that while we cannot change the entire society overnight, we can create our own micro-universe of warmth, intellect, and mutual respect.

When you tell people you’re cleverer than them you are unlikely to make any friends.

THIS IS SUPER COOL THOUGH IF YOU UNDERSTAND HORSES. LIKE THAT NIPPING IS A GROOMING BEHAVIOR HORSE’S DO TO BOND AND TO MAINTAIN AND IMPROVE SOCIAL BONDS. SO THAT HORSE IS BASICALLY TREATING THE CAT AS PART OF THE HERD AND SUSTAINING THE FRIENDLY BOND.
IT IS SAYING, “this tiny horse is very tiny but we are friends. Look at my tiny friend.”
“Oi! A word/phrase/guttural noise, spluttered with a splash of indignation, a twist of sarcasm and a great gulp of volume. No matter how hard he tried, the Doctor couldn’t help but sigh every time he heard it. Usually because the indignation, sarcasm and especially the volume were all aimed in his direction. He sighed and turned back to face Donna Noble, Queen of the ‘Oi’s.” - Doctor Who: Beautiful Chaos
