Changes don't magically stop at 5 years. Realistically 5 years on t is a drop in the bucket. Some of my biggest gains happened near 10 years and beyond so don't lose hope. Pre, 5 years, almost 16 years.
Almost 5. Slow down, kid.
This last TDOV irked the shit out of me. I sometimes wonder if some folks are so "out and proud" for the reasons they say, or because it's so lucrative now on IG. I also wish people would be more responsible when talking about being out and words like REAL, TRUE, AUTHENTIC. there are nasty implications for those who don't wear their medical records on their sleeves.
Coming up on 16 years
For the first time since your birth, I've given myself room to feel relief and hope for the world im sending you into one day. We still have work to do, sweet boy.
Little Ruby gets to come home a few days early so im picking her up on Sunday! I've never had a puppy before so im a little nervous but ive been researching nonstop and im as prepared as im going to be. Ruby is destined to be a support dog and a future AKC Good Citizen and more so we have a lot of training ahead of us!
Gf took me to meet my birthday present today. My heart has been so heavy since losing my girls and I knew I wanted another german shepherd but I didn't know when the time would be right. My love knew and im so happy to be welcoming little Ruby into the family next week.
Im officially 35 years old as of Dec 26. I honestly never thought I'd live to see my 30s and here I am halfway to 40. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself that one day I'll just get out of bed with a flat chest, a beard, and a son. Ill leave the house and blend in with every other typical guy and won't fully remember how hard it used to be, or what my body was like before.
ngl i'm a teen transsexual guy living in an unsupportive house, etc etc, and i really love this blog because it reminds me that i have a possible future as a regular stealth man with a family where my medical history doesn't matter.
Im so glad!! You'll get there!
He is so into Xmas this year, Santa and all. Im really hoping to have a #2 here or at least on the way this time next year.
It has been a l o n g year. So long I dont even know where to begin. My only hope right now is that it ends peacefully and that I can start to unpack my thoughts and feelings and start a new life. Again.
Wow yall. Long time, yeah? I'm back.
So many hardships and changes and lessons learned over the last year. We just moved out of the tiny space about a month ago and still readjusting to spacious life. Feeling a lot of gratitude for that.
My granny died. Im fine, really. What bothers me most about her passing is lack of closure over the hurt she caused in my youth.
Henry is nearly 4.5! He's practically a grown man!
2 of my most beloved dogs in my lifetime of pet ownership had to be put to sleep recently. Im still grieving pretty hard.
Ill expand later.
More changes in the tiny home
Just a reminder I'm primarily using Instagram right now if you want to continue following
I started working on my remodel of the place this last weekend. I spent two days painting and I'm still far from done. You'd think living tiny would mean faster work because there's less to work on, but it has proven to be more tedious and time consuming with a house. Having four 65+ dogs under foot doesn't help the situation. I'm still working on cleaning and decluttering the space. I didn't have a chance to finish the upper cabinet doors and the fridge but I will next weekend. Right now it's just primer. I'll be painting the fridge with chalkboard.
I have to buy some of Henry's clothes in the regular boys dept now and I think I'm taking to it worse than I did when I turned 30. I can't believe how big he's getting and I can't believe I'm going to have a 4 year old in a few months. I think some of my issue with him getting older is that I'm getting older too.
