“That’s classified.” How many times has she used this line on him only to have him figure it out anyways? There’s a GRIN on her face, though she can’t hide the wince from the cuts above her brow and around her eye. “You tell me.” At least this time she has solved this case rather than being injured during the middle of it. Usually when that’s the case, she’s doing everything she can to get out of the hospital. Now, she’s much more relaxed.
“Of course it is. It’s always classified with you.”
the news lately had been covering a string of murders along the area, so logically Hamish deduced that she would be following the case.
“Wouldn’t have anything to do with those MURDERS, would it?” Hamish began to dress the wound carefully, his hands perfectly steady as he cleaned the blood off of her face with some gauze. “How did this in particular happen?”
