seeing stars {add!}
A roommate huh... aah, that brings back a few memories. It seems like just yesterday all he'd known was a single room, and a single pair of roommates. His family. Heh, though thinking back, maybe it really wasn't that short a time, after all they'd gone through so much since then. He's no longer a crybaby scared to hear too much, Kido isn't as uptight, and Kano is... well he's learning to open up and rely on them a bit more. They've made a lot of new friends, it's really kinda amazing how far they've come.
But Seto hasn't seen any of his siblings since he'd arrived. Granted he still has a ways to go in exploring the park, but he'd at least wanted to meet the person he'd be sharing his living space with before he went off on his own. Yet even if he hadn't felt like waiting, the room and hotel itself held more than enough to reel in his attention. Staring in awe out the window had been the first thing he'd done. Stars and planets... astronomy had never really been his thing but that doesn't mean it doesn't have him glued to the glass. This is the kind of sight is usually reserved for books and pictures, yet the real thing could never be compared to a flattened image. That much is clear with one glance.
Enamored by the celestial sight literally at his bedside, Seto almost misses the click of the door opening. Whirling around immediately, he makes sure to put on a big smile for who he's hoping is his roommate. It'd be great if they could be on amicable terms for their stay, so he's looking to start off on a good note as he approaches the newcomer.
"Hey there!" Holding his hand out, he continues, "Seto Kousuke at your service. I'm guessin' you're m'new roomie, right? Nice to meet ya!"
