More of the gang, as well as some of their relationships with one another. Aside from what I’ve shown in the pics, Shepard and Baz are childhood friends here, and Agatha has been friends with Simon and Penny since they were kids too. Shep didn’t meet the rest of the gang (aside from Agatha) until later, when he decided to visit his mom’s side of the family after a whole life of living with his fathers side (nearby where Baz and his family lives).

Remember the first time you read Carry On, and the whole first part while Baz is gone, it’s mostly Simon’s POV. And you’re reading all of he and Baz’s past interactions from Simon’s perspective. He broke Baz’s nose. Baz pushed him down the stairs. Baz doesn’t want to shake his hand and tries to steal his girlfriend.

And then you finally get to Baz’s perspective, and he’s almost immediately like, Simon? Yes, he’s dumb; yes, everything he said about us happened. But also, I’m hopelessly in love with him.
