kicking my feet i kinda love that that devils minion scene is supposedly in philly. the street they're theoretically walking along would smell SOOOOO bad in that shot

idk if this is a shared experience or not, but i've found increasingly in my adult autistic life that whenever i talk to another autistic person, i find myself immediately talking to them like i speak to all my autistic friends. i think this has been an unmasking thing, as part of my brain switches off the safety mask i've built for long conversions. and, in part, i think it is because i talk to my long term autistic friends the same way currently as i did when i met them. but as it comes to non-autistic people (even if they are neurodivergent otherwise), i still put up guards because they don't seem to ever feel like they'll be able to take the full impact of unmasked me.
