DYFAM Update:

For the last 7 (!!!) years we’ve been wanting to entertain you guys, distract from the crazy world we live in and create story lines that are truly one of a kind. You guys have given us the privilege of extending these characters we all fell in love with so long ago and making them our own. You have stood by us when we would torture you with wild story lines and you’ve even stood by us when life got crazy and we took unofficial hiatuses. While we dont plan on stopping any time soon, there are some changes you’re about to see. 

As fans we lost someone very close to us. How to properly grieve and continue on as a RP has been the question we’ve talked about a lot in the last few weeks especially since Naya was so important to us as a fandom but also as a person. It’s still bizarre to talk about her passing and to consider what the RP would look like without her FC for Santana but after much thought and discussion, we have decided that it would be best to use a different actress as our FC for Santana. It will be hard, it will be weird to get used to but out of respect for Naya, we didnt feel it would be right to continue on as we did before and have decided to recast. Mandy has worked her ass off to create the Santana we all love to read, hate, cheer on, and sometimes be mad at and because of this, we decided it wouldnt do her or the character justice to just write her off.

Things will look slightly different but we will still be around, writing crazy story lines until you guys get sick of us. If you have any questions AT ALL, please message either me (Kym) or any of us really! We’re here for YOU guys. We love you, we love Naya and may she rest in peace.

Mandy’s Santana (queenbeelopez) over at Don’t You Forget About Me (dontyouforgetaboutmerp) is the first Santana I’ve rped against and honestly. A lot of people should read her Santana, and follow her. The reason why is because, she has balanced out Santana’s fierce-ness along with Santana’s softer side that she has. I couldn’t ask for a better Santana to have broships with. Especially Pucktana. Love you girlie!

I’m reading all of these glee rp confessions, and they are naming off their favorite Santana Lopez rpers. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure that they are really good. But my favorite Santana rper, is hands down Mandy (queenbeelopez) from Dyfam. I feel like some Santana rpers are overly dramatc, making her either super bitchy or very over emotional to the point that it gets annoying and it makes you not want to follow them anymore. Mandy you a very talented writer and I’m so glad that I decided to follow your Santana, because you never fail to amaze me with your talent and knack for writing her. You can make everyone hate her one minute to just wanting to hold her the next, and to me that takes true talent. Keep up the good work.

Quick question are we gonna see Dylan and Charice in the time jump

They are definitely going to be there but for now, a few characters arent going to be full time such as Charice, Dylan, Artie, Marley and Alyssa. We made that decision because it’s honestly just the 4 of us playing a total of like 12 full time characters. If you include side characters, we’re getting up there in numbers so while it’s fun and we love playing them, playing 3+ characters at once is draining. But they arent gone. All of the characters I named will be back and they’ll be around but they’re just supporting characters. Charice and Dylan will become full time characters again in the future though.

But our Puck RPer (Katie) wont be as active in the first week or two of the RP due to life. But she’ll be here. We wouldnt let her leave, we love her too much.

I have to say that there is not a lot of rps that have any kind of Brittcedes friendships.  They always have it where Brittany is so rude and mean to Mercedes for no reason and always getting her confused with Unique. That is why I love (harvardboundjones) and (lovecleverbrittany) over at DYFAM RP. They have an amazing friendship and I love how they are always there for each other.They are so cute and so funny and I have to admit I love how they pick on Sam. Best brittcedes I have ever seen in an rp. Fabulous Job!
