لن أنسى أبدا عندما حضنني و بدأ في تلاوة ما تيسّر من القرآن الكريم و الأدعية..

ذلك الخوف الذي ملأ عيناه و هو تارة ينظر إليّ و يسألني إن كنت بخير و تارة أخرى يُقبّل رأسي و يتأسف على ذنب لم يفعله..

ذلك الشعور بالأمان الذي تملكني بين يديه جعلني لا أُفلت يده منذ ذلك الحين..

أحسستُ بالحماية و السعادة في آن واحد و تحررت تلك الفتاة الصغيرة بين ذراعيه في تلك الليلة..
