Aaron Bushnell died. The active duty US soldier who self immolated in front of the Israeli embassy died of his wounds - he died screaming “Free Palestine” as he burned. He said he no longer wanted to be complicit in genocide. This is the second person to self immolate because of Palestinian Genocide and I hope his story doesn’t get swept under the rug like the first.

one of my favorite things about tlt is how some of the greatest moments of kindness are also the cruelest thing you could do to someone. aiglemene kept gideon from joining the war orphan industrial complex machine by forcing her to stay on a shitty cult planet where no one liked her. gideon killed herself in front of harrow and forced her to choke down her soul so she could live. harrow cut off the part of her brain that remembered gideon, the on thing she ever wanted from harrow was her attention, so that SHE could live. the one time we see palamedes go off without camilla is so he can confront the rogue lyctor and avenge dulcinea, killing himself in the process. camilla carried palamedes with her for 6 months, the process was literally killing her. ianthe refused to eat corona. mercymorn EXPLODED john. i think about this often
