Okay, so unpopular opinion time, lol

I can't say that my first ever Tumblr post will be amazing, but screw it.

Can't we appreciate Manfred von Karma for being such a good character? I actually really like how the game devs wrote him and the way the anime portrayed him. He's not exactly complex, nor is he a good person in any sense of the word. However he is such an amazing "villain" character compared to others.

I just think the whole narcissistic sociopath personality makes for such an interesting character. I know he's verbally abusive to his children and pretty much everyone around him, and that's an obvious bad thing. But I can't help loving characters like this. They just really intrigue me, and Manfred von Karma is exactly what I look for in these kinds of characters.

Plus his relationship with Franziska interests me. Does he truly care about her? I know she bears the heavy burden of carrying on the von Karma legacy, but did he make it difficult for her, or did it look like he cared to some extent like how the anime tells it?

I don't know that she completely grasps the bad things that her father's done, she was two when Manfred adopted Miles and she always idolized her father. I do wonder if she found out the truth behind DL-6 if she believed it or not.

But yeah, that's just my opinion. I just see so many people shitting on Manfred(for good reason, I guess), and I'm the one person in the back going "can you not?", lol.

Also, Franziska is bestest girl, fight me 😂

Dear IANOWT fandom,

We must make sure we don't let this fandom go to near trash like the IT and Stranger Things fandoms. This includes:

A) respecting the cast (ex: not kissing them at cons without permission, not asking personal questions, et cetera)

B) not shipping the cast

C) not having pedophilic ships (ex: dina and gay janitor)

D) respect other people's headcanons and theories

E) don't assume or guess ANYONE in the casts' sexuality.

We know that we are in a fandom that has people who are also in the IT and Stranger Things fandom (including myself) meaning there will be some toxic fans that slip through. If you catch someone being disrespectful towards the cast, RESPECTFULLY correct them.
