#these will definitely be in sequential order once printed#but for now the parts are as they are being made lol#dragon age#da4#dragon age the veilguard#fan comic#datv rook#da4 lucanis#lucanis dellamorte#lucanis x rook#rookanis#lace harding#scout harding#veilguard#dav#spite#spite dellamorte#this took FOREVER#it gave me so much trouble#Intros are hard and I really had to decide what I did and didn't like about the original and why#ultimately the struggle between Lucanis and Spite isn't illustrated well in the OG except through like the barest hint of dialogue#one could argue that's cause Lucanis has his shit locked down and would also be why he is in full unblemished armor and a neat beard#but I'm guessing it was more of a production thing more than a character driven decision... also him being more unhinged is funner WHOP WHO#having high visual fidelity doesn't always mean the visuals are pushing the story forward in meaningful ways#I also love the allusion to the spite/determination thing that you ONLY get during the end game with Solas#such a missed opportunity to make the mourn watch rook be more lived in#anyway... thanks for reading lmao
