Hey guys,
Here is a model of a wizard I did a while ago.

I did a lioness study this week, I was going to actually paint something but didnt have much time. Maybe next week...
Daily sketch theme: Glasses. Watercolor is hard! But every time I use it I feel some improvement. For example, today I only dipped my brush into my coca-cola instead of water twice! A huge accomplishment!
Today's daily sketch theme: flight. Did not have the time to finish this one, maybe some day!
Today’s Daily Sketch Theme: Fog.
It is pretty darn hard to portrait fog, it is pretty much value control, something I struggle with!
I also realized that not every sketch will look good or even finished, after all they are supposed to be just sketches. That got me debating myself if I would post those “ugly” sketches or not...
I decided to post them, I want to make this blog a journey, show my progress and have a record of old art so I myself can look back one day and see how much I have grown as an artist. Hopefully that can be helpful to other people as well somehow.
I just found out about the reddit forum “Sketch Daily” and it really got me excited to do a rough sketch everyday! Most of the times I suffer from “What to draw” syndrome so it is nice to have a community with a daily theme!
Today is Martin Luther King Jr day and of course the theme, hopefully by the end of this year I will notice some progress in my art if I keep up the daily pace.
Hi! My first self portrait ever!
Hugo from Lost from my sketchbook!
So, this is my first attempt to using gouache and I gotta say, I quite like it! To be fair I used a pretty cheap, school version of this media, so the negative I have towards it might be just because I didn’t use a quality brand, but they are few anyways. I like how it blends and the fact that it is water soluble, people say it is more of a opaque media, but I got some transparency at times that were quite welcomed. I like it! Super recommend for you to try out as well! I might try using with watercolor and see what happens :)

Attempt at watercolor!
Second try at oil painting. Trying to get better at each attempt. :)
Hello everyone!! I am trying to improve my art skills, I am used to do a lot of photos studies but I wanted to start to create my own thing. I am not there yet but I am starting to paint from multiple sources and references instead of just one, painting the things I want from each reference, that is what I did here, this way I am forced to change lighting and perspective some times to make it fit, learning more in the process. I would love your opinion on this one! Hopefully someday I will be able to create scenes from my own head!
Rough sketch done using conté.
My first attempt at oil painting!! For my first time I am satisfied with the results, can’t wait to paint more and get better at it!
Testing new brushes this new year!
Really quick Amelie Poulain painting for you guys :)
Sketch of the day: Kreacher, Harry Potter
"Nasty brat standing there as bold as brass. Harry Potter, the boy who stopped the Dark Lord. Friend of mudbloods and blood-traitors alike. If my poor mistress only knew..."
