I've read all of the books on my list (except for Kate Manne's upcoming book, which is pre-ordered), and 9 of the OP's list. With respect to them, that list is sadly lacking anything about fat women, and it's a little short of authors who aren't white American women.

I'd like my list to be more diverse, but I went back through 10 years of reading history and decided that was probably enough.

(Oh god, I miss doing RA. I'm a former public librarian and talking about books is still one of the best things ever. I didn't leave librarianship for the lack of loving books!)

I'd like to see a return of dorm-style female only boarding houses. Affordable rooms, one or two shared bathrooms, a daily dinner served at a specific time by the proprietor, and a strict "No Men Allowed" policy. For some women this would be more or less a permanent living situation, but for most it would be temporary. I'd love to move back to the city but I just can't afford an apartment on my own, and fear living alone because of safety concerns. If boarding houses were still common, I'd have an opportunity to rent a room monthly or weekly in a very safe environment while I get on my feet and look for a roommate. This is one of those "antiquated" things that really worked and I'm not sure why they disappeared!

This was how our university hostel worked. They are single-sex, no males are allowed entry, and we got three meals a day + snacks at 5 pm. The only issues were that there were no working washing machines, and I hated the shared bathrooms, and it wasn't exactly the most hygienic living situation.

2,300-Year-Old Plush Bird from the Altai Mountains of Siberia, c.400-300 BCE: this figure was crafted with a felt body and reindeer-fur stuffing, all of which remains intact

This plush bird was sealed within the frozen barrows of Pazyryk, Siberia, for more than two millennia, where a unique microclimate enabled it to be preserved. The permafrost ice lense formation that runs below the barrows provided an insulating layer, preventing the soil from heating during the summer and allowing it to quickly freeze during the winter; these conditions produced a separate microclimate within the stone walls of the barrows themselves, thereby aiding in the preservation of the artifacts inside.

This is just one of the many well-preserved artifacts that have been found at Pazyryk. These artifacts are attributed to the Scythian/Altaic cultures.

Currently housed at the Hermitage Museum.

The reason so many men think rape “is not that bad” is because they believe that being penetrated by a man is an intrinsic part of being a woman. They can’t understand why penetration could be such a traumatic event, even when it is forced upon the woman. That’s also what’s behind the notion that rape can only be truly traumatic to virgins. For a woman who has experienced penetration before, rape is just another regular day.

Ok so I was a bit worried about the way my own biological father looks at me and I thought it was so bazar that I always even end up crying and it seems I’m really not the only one. and then after searching for so long, this is how they put it, “she is like my wife but 25 years younger, ofcourse it’s normal” 

men are terrifying, like I wish I could say this is so completely un normal, but how many times do you hear about fathers and step fathers sexually abuse their daughters. like I can’t help but wonder how many just simply don’t act on their thoughts like this guy but still have it in their heads.

and he worst part is, this doesn’t happen when the girl is like an adult, it happens when she is begining or is hitting puberty. 

I know this is “dark” and uncomfortable but the more you don’t talk about this, the more it happens and the more men try to normalize it.
