With magic AUs though, Geoff maybe being a ridiculously powerful wizard but him hating using his powers. Instead, he uses it to like make police trip over themselves, for their guns to jam, or like get flat tires.

The rare occasion is when someone’s properly hurt and Geoff needs to help them now. One time is when they’d been cornered, the police had them surrounded, and they just opened fire on them. Geoff only took a second of watching his crew get hit before he just screamed, a proper glass-shattering scream. The bullets, the guns, the police, the cars, and any tree or building in a half-mile stretch behind them just disintegrated.

Geoff only knows he looked over and everyone was still standing, and then he collapsed and woke up a week later to his crew freaking out but alive, and news reports all talking about how the LSPD was scrambling to get new officers.

Crash, Boom, Bang

Gavin could hear the steady countdown of the bomb’s timer ringing in his ears as he tore out of the room, hanging a sharp left and sprinting down the corridor as fast as his legs could carry him.

A (relatively) short FAHC fic based on this lovely piece of art by @doodletoodle, which was in turn inspired by this video. I haven’t written fic in well over a year, so I have no idea why this fanart bit me so hard in this ass, but anyway…here’s this! Please enjoy.
