It’s my grandpa’s birthday next week and he said “I don’t want to be 85” and my grandmother, his wife of 59 and a half years, said “well your only alternative is to die”, I can’t believe how affectionate they are

I was having lunch with them today and my grandpa started throwing napkins at my grandmother, and she balled it up and looked all set to throw it back but then she put it down and said “I will not throw it because I was brought up properly, you were dragged” she has spent ¾ of her life with this man

Imho the idea of ‘cruelty free’ products or food shouldn’t mean that nothing died to create it, but rather that anything and anyone involved in the creation process hasn’t been exploited or harmed.

Leather is good actually. Veganism isn’t the end all be all to morality and consumption. The issue isn’t that a chicken died for those nuggets, but that while the chicken was alive, it’s life fucking sucked. Vegan chocolate means little if the cocoa that made it was gathered by child slave labor.

Factory farms, abuses of the people who pick the fruit and vegetables we eat, the focus profit and productivity over all else - that’s the fucking issue here. It’s capitalism folks.

Gilgamesh (oldest who is so much older he just doesn’t give af) Ikaris (younger oldest brother who feels like the weight of the world is on him) Thena (oldest sister who is also on the brink bc trouble maker rebel- Phastos twin)

Overlooked Middle

Phastos (only not part of oldest bc hes the overachiever middle. He is Thena’s twin) Sersi (tru overlooked but well behaved middle) and Makkari (overlooked middle who uses it to get away with f everything)

Youngest trouble makers

Sprite (resentful of being classified as youngest but truly is youngest) Kingo (boy admires the eldests so much but is to self centered) Druig (I will do what you explicitly ask me not to do bc screw u)
